SubscribeNext up in our tour of Virginia is the Dulles District which had four teams make the Class 4 State playoffs in 2022. Similar to a number of the districts we have covered already, Dulles has kids all over that have major potential. Up first is part 1 of our 2024 Risers from the Dulles District:
The Spartans seem poised for a rebound this year under new Head Coach Zach Barnisky and it starts with Shipe. One of the top ranked players in the state this rising junior can fly, he has already been clocked in at a 4.47 40! Shipe is the exact type of player a new coach can build around as his speed, vision and power are a deadly combo. The young man is also an excellent receiver out of the backfield, displaying great hands making him dual threat running and causing headaches for the rest of the conference. He has had interest from both FCS and FBS schools with more interest and offers abound to come soon. Watching his film there is no doubt in this scouts mind that this dude is going to make a Division 1 coach very happy!

Chase Kibble
Chase Kibble
The Loudoun County Captains are looking to advance past region finals this season and they may have the horses up front to do it. Kibble being one of them is a technique savy/physical defensive end and stout offensive tackle. While Kibble has a bright future on both sides of the line I think at the next level he will succeed most at is defensive end. Blessed with solid speed and elite strength, the dude is a going to command double teams all season. He has an excellent reach and with his power if he gets his opposing lineman extended its game over. The rising junior is a multi-sport star for Loudoun County excelling basketball and track & field as well for the Captains. This all conference selection should have no problem attracting FBS offers come 2023, standing at 6’4 and 240 lbs. will certainly help.

We have to mention one of the most sought after recruits not only in Virginia but the entire country in Mason Wade Mason Wade 6’5″ | 285 lbs | OL Loudoun Valley | 2024 State VA . When reviewing film there are plenty of players that standout, look the part, may be ready to play major college in a year. Wade is one of the few who looks like he could jump in and start at an FBS level school and start right now. An absolute mauler on the line this young man has offers from Virginia Tech, Auburn, Duke, Boston College and I could keep going. Standing at 6’5 and 295 lbs. 0f mostly muscle, its pretty easy to figure out why coaches all over the USA are salivating at his talents. I would expect the Hokies and Brent Pry to pull out all stops to land his services, if not Virginia Tech, another school will have a game 1 ready starter.

Cole Kielhorn
Cole Kielhorn
Kielhorn is an excellent possession receive who will never lose any 50/50 ball battle. A good weapon to have for the Vikings on offense, he is also a rangy/physical safety that can cover a lot of territory. Over the past season Cole hauled in 27 receptions with 6 touchdowns averaging over 19 yards per reception. He is a big play threat with his longest score going for 91 yards! This young man is an excellent student boasting a 4.23 GPA, no surprise that numerous schools from the Patriot League are already vying for his services.

Oh the big man from Tuscarora, we would not being doing our due diligence if we did not talk about this stud. Already with a top ten list for his college choice of the likes of Michigan State, Auburn and Tennessee Westphal has plenty of options. He is flawless on tape, in both pass and run blocking and boasts a modest 3.7 GPA. I would not be surprised if he made his commitment sooner than later but only time will tell on his decision.
