There are talented prospects on both sides of highway I-70, but also throughout I-44. Below, I go into why these six prospects are rising up the lists of coaches recruiting the St. Louis area.
Joseph Federer Joseph Federer 5’11” | 190 lbs | QB Parkway West | 2024 State MO had over 1000 rushing yards and over 1700 passing yards for Parkway West last year. Joseph has been to camps at Yale, Mizzou, and Lindenwood. He also went to a game day visit at Kansas last fall.
Joseph’s touch shows on deep balls under pressure and dropping intermediate throws into a bucket while on the run. Strength and vision as a runner consistently get displayed when designed QB runs are called. Athleticism allows Joseph to maneuver through traffic in the pocket, but coaches like to see his poise complete passes off-balance in the face of defenders.
Jeremiah Cunningham Jeremiah Cunningham 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Farmington | 2024 State MO

Jeremiah Cunningham Jeremiah Cunningham 5’11” | 180 lbs | ATH Farmington | 2024 State MO returns to lead a hungry Festus team coming off of a district championship loss in 2022. Jeremiah attended a SEMO camp last summer so be on the lookout for his regional attention to pick up as he heads into his final season.
Jeremiah shows his poise and extend ability calmly creating when screens get disrupted and he is forced to go off script. Good touch on deep balls and placement on slants near the goal line highlights Jeremiah’s accuracy. Jeremiah’s speed and vision shows running QB power and cutting back on option read plays.
James Hollins
James Hollins
As a junior, James Hollins helped lead Riverview Gardens to their best record in five years. The Rams hope to build off of last season’s momentum and get back to the playoff winning days of 2017.
Coaches like James’ toughness shown standing tall in the pocket under pressure, and as a determined runner near the goal line. James’ arm strength shows driving the ball over linebackers’ heads with ease on deep slant routes. Good touch shows consistently hitting receivers in stride on deep balls.
Charlie Blondin Charlie Blondin 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Warrenton | 2024 State MO
Charlie Blondin Charlie Blondin 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Warrenton | 2024 State MO
Charlie Blondin Charlie Blondin 6’1″ | 170 lbs | QB Warrenton | 2024 State MO returns for his final season as the Warrenton signal caller. After a tough playoff loss to Hannibal, Charlie looks to help the Warriors rebound in 2023.
Charlie’s anticipation shows throwing well-timed comeback routes and squeezing the ball in between well covered zones over the middle. Good extend ability shows as Charlie tucks the ball to draw defenders towards the line of scrimmage, then lofts a throw to a receiver running deep. Charlie’s athleticism allows him to escape collapsing pockets, while next level arm strength shows delivering strikes on the run.
Jayden Barnett
Jayden Barnett
Jayden Barnett returns for his final year as the Ritenour starter. Jayden is a lefty whose height becomes a nonfactor once evaluators turn on the tape; Scouts see Jayden’s anticipation and extend ability on display finding windows in zone coverage in between taller defensive linemen.
Coaches can pick any one of Jayden’s highlight reel middle read keepers to see his next level dual-threat ability. Athleticism gets displayed when pressure forces Jayden to run, but next level arm strength consistently shows extending plays on the move. Coaches like seeing Jayden’s feet calmly reset inside the pocket when he’s knocked off his spot, and the poise he displays keeping his eyes downfield under duress.
