I take a look at a few 2024 offensive linemen who are starting to garner attention and who appear to be on the rise up.
Jaedyn McCloud | 6’7″ 325 | OT | Hazelwood Central |
He played nose guard primarily during his junior season and was a natural space-eater clogging the middle of the defense, requiring double and triple teams. He has worked this offseason at OL and has the attention of a few colleges, including Missouri State, who he took a Junior Day visit to. McCloud has great size and is pretty nimble and agile. He has shown nice athleticism and strength in training and competing in a lineman tryout I got to watch. He has long arms and can move his feet well while he continues to learn.
Giovanni Patton | 6’9″ 330 | OT | Truman |
A massive young man who moves pretty well and seems to be coming into his own heading into what will be his senior season. Giovanni has long arms and quick feet for his size in pass pro, which makes it tough for players to get around him. He shows good run blocking ability and with his block and holds it. You don’t want to be on the bottom of his pancakes. Schools are starting to show interest in him with multiple junior day visit offers being extended. It’s a good thing that he continues to show dedication to keep improving so he can play at the next level.
Andrew Flaherty | 6’8″ 295 | OT | Priory |
Another young giant who is starting to come into his own out of St. Louis is human mountain Flaherty, who has really dedicated himself to get better with training both physically and with his skills. Andrew likes to battle and has become more and more physical in his play going against to good competition regularly. A strong run blocker who continue to improve his pass blocking with foot quickness and proper technique. Colleges are showing interest in him, including some Ivy League schools.
Jackson Pasley

| 6’3″ 250 | OG/C | Lafayette |
While not as large as the previous offensive linemen mentioned, Pasley makes up for it with skill and tenacity. He’s quick off the snap, engages his man and gets results. Jackson is solid in all areas of his offensive line play and was among the best I saw in the St. Louis area this past season. He appears to have the ability to play anywhere along the interior of the offensive line on the next level. He has taken a junior day visit to Missouri State as well as a game day visit to Marshall during the season.
