And as the young athletes continue to develop, put more footage on film and be further evaluated in person, the list figures to remain particularly fluid during the next year.
Check out more information on 10 of the prospects ranked between No. 51 and 100 who have showcased a notable eye-catching trait or two or may have some of the highest ceilings ahead.
No. 51 Kolby Thomas Kolby Thomas 5'10" | 160 lbs | WR Calvary Baptist | 2025 State LA | 5-10, 160 WR | Calvary Baptist
The quick-footed and elusive Thomas seems to live open with his route-running and knack for maximizing soft spots and windows in opposing defenses — then showing the ability to make defenders miss and open up the field for big yardage after the catch. “KT” forced his way into varsity opportunities during his freshman year with his consistently impressive performance and has racked up a combined 1,325 yards and 12 touchdowns on 81 receptions since then — an average of 16.4 yards per catch — on an offense with several options to which to spread the wealth.
No. 54 Jarvis Davis Jr Jarvis Davis Jr 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Airline | 2025 State LA . | 5-10, 160 WR | Huntington
Another Shreveport receiver joins Thomas in topping this list, and many of the dynamics are similar. Davis has similar measurable to and also notably excels in his route-running, particularly at such a young age, and kept defensive backs consistently off balance this fall en route to 730 yards and four touchdowns on 38 receptions — an average of 19.2 yards per catch on a Raiders’ offense with some solid options all over the field.
No. 57 Erv Smith Erv Smith 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL Catholic (Baton Rouge) | 2025 State LA | 6-2, 265 OL | Catholic (Baton Rouge)
Strong play in the trenches is a long-standing tradition for the Baton Rouge-based Bears, who ascended in recent years from consistently competitive playoff team to one of Louisiana’s true elites. Catholic graduated star Emery Jones off to nearby LSU in 2022 where he earned a starting tackle job as a true freshman. And filling those big shoes at the pivotal left tackle position was Smith, more than holding his own as a sophomore against a stout Class 5A schedule, protecting 2024 quarterback Daniel Beale Daniel Beale 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Catholic (Baton Rouge) | 2024 State LA , paving running lanes for a stable of backs and establishing himself as a notable lineman to watch for the years to come.
No. 59 Martrell Henry Martrell Henry 6'2" | 260 lbs | DL Riverside Academy | 2025 State LA | 6-2, 280 DL | Riverside Academy
The big-bodied defensive lineman showed good quickness as a disruptive end on his Rebels’ front, which put together a stretch of just 23 points allowed in seven games at the peak of a 9-2 season overall. Henry recorded 53 tackles, including 23 for loss and eight sacks, and five forced fumble and one recovery to lead the charge.
No. 60 Abram Wardell Abram Wardell 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Calvary Baptist | 2025 State LA | 5-11, 195 QB | Calvary Baptist
The second half of the top 100 includes 10 quarterbacks, most of whom lack either prototypical size or much notable varsity experience or both. The highest ranked of the bunch, the fifth-ranked quarterback in the latest 2025 update overall, is a bit shy of 6-feet — although closer to that measurable than a couple of his peers — and has already showcased himself among the state’s most poised and efficient young passers in a full season at the helm of his school’s offense. Wardell completed 145 of his 186 passes this fall for 2,410 yards, 33 touchdowns and four interceptions. That’s a sky-high 78% completion percentage and 8.25 touchdown-to-interception ratio for a young quarterback consistently working the ball downfield.
No. 62 Sean Hamilton Sean Hamilton 6'3" | 240 lbs | DL Zachary | 2025 State LA | 6-3, 240 DL | Zachary
The Broncos have been enjoying a nice run of college talent on their defensive front, and the early footage available on the versatile young Hamilton looks as though he may be next up. He possesses a combination of good height and a long frame, quickness and, it appears, a good motor working through blocks and in pursuit of opposing quarterbacks and rushers that all add up to a lot of intrigue to keep an eye on Hamilton as he continues to develop and play a bigger varsity role.
No. 67 Ryker Airhart Ryker Airhart 6'6" | 310 lbs | OL Cecilia | 2025 State LA | 6-6, 310 OL | Cecilia
In a class that hasn’t yet seemed to have some of the line depth of other recent groups, the Bulldogs’ huge right guard is difficult to miss. Airhart looked at his best on film bursting straight ahead as a run-blocking mauler, but showed some mobility getting his hands on and staying in front of smaller, quicker linebackers or occasionally pulling across the formation. He possesses a tall frame many of his peers would kill for and could position himself for opportunities at the next level if he continues to work.
No. 75 Richard Wilson Jr. | 5-9 ATH | Wossman
Whether working out of the slot, on the back end of the defense or as a returner, Wilson looks like the fastest player on the field, with a listed 4.4-second 40-yard dash, throughout his sophomore highlight reel with explosive burst and acceleration and impressive elusiveness and balance through contact with the ball in his hands and instincts and ball skills as a defensive back.
No. 91 Tylik Albert Tylik Albert 6'2" | 190 lbs | ATH Riverside Academy | 2025 State LA | 6-2, 190 QB | East Ascension
The Spartans’ multi-sport sophomore is one of the young quarterbacks on the list with minimal high school experience (or footage) thus far, but has one of the best frames and has put together some strong 7-on-7 performances with well-placed dots all over the field in tight windows, in receivers’ strides and with nice touch. Albert is still in the early stages of the evaluation and recruiting processes, but there are some attributes and flashes to like thus far.
No. 95 Korey Fontenot Korey Fontenot 6'1" | 165 lbs | WR Opelousas | 2025 State LA | 6-1, 165 WR | Opelousas
Another notable wide receiver to keep an eye on is all-district Opelousas sophomore Korey Fontenot Korey Fontenot 6'1" | 165 lbs | WR Opelousas | 2025 State LA , a perimeter compliment to running back D’Shaun Ford D’Shaun Ford 5'11" | 210 lbs | RB Opelousas | 2025 State LA and an intriguing young prospect to watch with good listed size and a sophomore highlight reel on which he appears to eat lots of grass in a hurry to put cornerbacks on their heels or blow by them to stretch defenses over the top.
