Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Jayce Stephens, OL- Seminole High c/o 25
6’0 275lbs
Stephens is a player out of Seminole High that I think will really improve this season and help get the Warhawks back to their winning ways. Stephens is a three sport athlete that also competes in wrestling and track, and is an outstanding student with a 3.5 GPA. Stephens shows good quickness out of his stance and the acceleration to get to the second level, he flashes physicality in the run game, and shows athleticism and moves efficiently as a puller.
Antonio Pore, RB/ATH- East Bay High c/o 24
6’1 225lbs
Pore is a player out of the Tampa area that I’m really excited about watching this spring. Last season he was a contributor for an Indians team that went 10-2 and advanced to the second round of the state playoffs. This season I expect him to be one of the main weapons that East Bay will utilize on the offensive side of the ball. Last season in five games he rushed for 66 yards and averaged over 7 yards per carry. He’s a big physically imposing running back that shows good forward lean and can run through arm tackles, for a big back he has good feet and can tap dance his way through traffic. He’s a player with good physical traits and a high upside.
Au’Vontae Smith, DE/LB- Columbia High c/o 24
5’11 235lbs
Smith is a player out of Columbia High in North Florida that coaches need to go and check out this spring. Smith was part of an outstanding defense that helped lead Columbia High to the state semifinals in 2022. Last season Smith finished with 42 tackles, 4 sacks, and a forced fumble. Smith is twitchy and explosive, he flashes good short area acceleration and plays to the whistle, posesses really good get-off at the snap and uses hands well to disengage from blockers. He’s a player in the rise!
John Derose John Derose 6'3" | 180 lbs | DL Dunnellon | 2024 FL , DE- Dunnellon High c/o 24
6’3 190lbs
Derose was a defensive bright spot on a Dunnellon team that made the state playoffs in 2022. Derose will look to take the next step in his development after finishing with 15 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, was second on the team with 3 sacks and recorded a fumble recovery from his defensive end position. He competed in our Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase and showed good athleticism and speed (4.78 40) for a player his size. He’s an undersized defensive end, but plays with a high motor and is a competitor, he plays with good balance and is relentless in pursuit to the ball. Could probably move to the linebacker position and excel there as well.
