Alberto Mendoza Alberto Mendoza 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Miami Christopher Columbus | 2024 FL – Columbus High c/o 24
6’2 195lbs
Mendoza is one of the top quarterbacks in South Florida and a first team All Miami-Dade County selection, and the two-time 4M player of the year! He led the Explorers to a 14-1 record and a state championship in 2022! Last season Mendoza dominated throwing for 2,825 yards, 35 passing touchdowns and 3 rushing touchdowns while completing 73% of his passes with a QB rating of 130.5. Mendoza possesses a smooth throwing motion, is very accurate on the run, plays with poise, and does a good job standing tough in the pocket. the three-star Prospect stock is on the rise picking up offers from Charlotte, Appalachian State, and Toledo in January.
Jorge Rodriguez- Doral Academy c/o 24
6’0 170lbs
Rodriguez is a dual-threat prospect out of Doral Academy. He led the Firebirds to an 8-5 record and into the regional finals where they lost the eventual state champions Columbus High. Rodriguez wasn’t asked to throw a lot, but when he did he was efficient and effective passing for 911 yards, completing 50% of his passes with 9 touchdowns. He was the third leading rusher on the team with 392 yards, averaging 4.5 yards per carry with 8 rushing touchdowns. He’s a good athlete that shows nice acceleration (4.74 40) and burst to get to the edge, has good vision and cutback ability. Throws with accuracy on designed roll outs.
Jayden Romulus- Miami High c/o 24
6’0 170lbs
Romulus split time at quarterback last season for the Stingrays. He looks to head into the spring as the starter and to help get Miami High back to its winning ways. Last season in 9 games he passed for 753 yards, completing 52% of his passes with 4 touchdowns. Unfortunately he doesn’t have any Hudl film to evaluate, but is a player coaches need to stop by at Miami High this spring and check out.
