In this article we are going to concentrate on some of the guys who signed with division one programs. Some of these guys were committed elsewhere before they made their final decisions. Let’s check it out.
Caleb Bryant Caleb Bryant 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL Vicksburg | 2023 State MS , Vicksburg, DE
Bryant was committed to Utah. He changed his mind a while back and has been locked in since. Bryant is going to fit in very nice at Mississippi State. He also gets to be developed by the legendary, David Turner. Bryant has some nice size. He is only going to pack on more weight. Bryant was a Dandy Dozen this season. He did a lot of great things on and off the football field. Bryant seems like he will be a guy the Mississippi State fans are going to love. Mississippi State has been known as Defensive Line University. Bryant is headed to be a part of that history.
Isaiah Spencer Isaiah Spencer 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Madison Central | 2023 State MS , WR, Madison Central
The man with the plan is headed to Jackson State. It wasn’t hard to like Spencer. This kid had back-to-back 1,000 yard receiving seasons. That is a hard task to come by playing football in Mississippi. He was a receiver that his quarterback could count on. He was one of the stars of the 2021 6A State Championship. Spencer is only headed right down the road to attend college. I think he is going to be a great fit in Jackson. The fans around Jackson are definitely familiar with him.
Lester Miller Lester Miller 6'0" | 160 lbs | WR Brandon | 2023 State MS , WR, Brandon
Miller has been training with Shay Hodge and Mike Espy. Both of these guys are former Ole Miss receivers. Miller will also be headed to Oxford to play football. This young man can hold his own when he is on the islands. Miller can also go up the ladder to make good catches. In the 2021 6A State Championship he went upstairs for nice catch that resulted in a touchdown. It is one of the best plays in a state championship game that I ever saw. Miller is also a nice route runner. When he packs on some more muscle weight, defensive backs are going to be in trouble.
