Henry Buecker
Henry Buecker
“Do it all” is the easiest way to describe this 3-sport All-Conference athlete out of Rocket Country. The son of a coach, Henry displays a presence on the field that drips knowledge, passion and grit. Roaming the field at Free Safety, he’s a ball hawk who helped force 6 turnovers while also being stout enough to record 51 tackles as well. Look for a big season from Henry on defense and offense for the Rockets in 2023. His Twitter handle is @HenryBuecker
Nathan Unland
Nathan Unland
Nathan is a solid performer manning the middle of the Senators defense and this LB does a great job moving sideline to sideline and covering as much field as possible. He is quick on his feet and a very sure tackler, as seen by his 85 total tackles during his All-Conference junior campaign. Look for Nathan to have even more of a leadership role as a senior and command every team to know where he is at all times. His Twitter handle is @NathanUnland
Jake Kepler
Jake Kepler
Jake is a terror on the field and off (4.0 GPA) for the Cyclones, playing the edge with reckless tenacity. He looks as if he is shot from a cannon when the ball is snapped and can play well with his hand on the ground as a DE or in space as an OLB. I would look for him to play in a 2 point stance at the next level because of his overall athleticism and longer frame. He finished his Junior season with 8 sacks and another 8 tackles for loss and I would look for him to best those numbers as a senior. Jake is beginning to gather some FCS interest and after a good summer he will enter the season with some offers. His Twitter handle is @KeplerJake
Lance Ingold
Lance Ingold
Another great DE prospect for the Rockets of Rochester, this 6’6 2-sport athlete is a monster off the edge. Cat quick and strong enough to handle tackles, look for Lance to put on another 30-40 pounds on his frame once he enters college. You can tell that he is a very teachable player (4.3 GPA) as he rarely pulls the same move twice and is a terror with his hands, swiping away offensive lineman and knocking down passes all over the field. Look for Lance to garner some serious attention as the summer camp season progresses into his senior year. His Twitter handle is @LanceIngold
Sam is following the footsteps of a long line of shut down defenders for the Generals of Decatur MacArthur. He is the prototype corner, standing 6’2 and possessing long arms and quick hips. Sam can come up in run support as easily as back pedal and break on a pass. He is equally dangerous on special teams and on offense as well. He is gathering some serious interest from the MAC and has spent time at both Ball State and Miami (OH). Look for an offer coming soon. His Twitter handle is @Sam_Owens6
Zach Phipps
Zach Phipps
A real under the radar prospect, Zach is an OLB for the Titans who plays with quick hands, great feet and sure tackling. He does a good job of getting blockers off of him and making tackles in space on the speedy skill players in the CS8. Another in the long line of multi-sport athletes for Glenwood, look for Zach to take a big step up his senior season as a leader on and off the field. His Twitter handle is @ZachPhipps5
