Just a few months removed from being crowned the 14U AYF National Champions, the work on the next chapter has already started. This year they are reloading with a nice squad. That defensive line is going to be monstrous. Let’s check out some of their guys.
I was very impressed with Teasley today. It isn’t hard to see he has been training for quite some time. Teasley has a quick release. He also has some good footwork in the pocket. He does a good job of progressing through his reads. Teasley has some good size. He stands around 5-foot-10. He definitely looks like he will continue to grow. Teasley has the potential to be a highly recruited quarterback. For his age, all the boxes are checked.
Highlights
Braylin Rogers
Braylin Rogers
Rogers is a guy that had a good day today. He was showing off those soft hands and good speed. Rogers has a very nice release from the line. He gets on cornerbacks very fast, making them make quick decisions. He needs to work on getting his feet under him when he makes cuts. Sometimes he does not break himself all the way down to make smooth cuts. Rogers is going to be a big-time target for the Mississippi Wolfpack. Him and Teasley are going to put up some numbers.
Kameron Oscar
Kameron Oscar
Oscar has some good feet and hips. He has a smooth back pedal and loves to attack the football. He has some nice size and doesn’t mind making tackles. Oscar is a guy that can play on the island or safety. He has some long arms that get around receivers easily to break up passes. I think that he needs to work on getting those hips around faster. He does a lot of things well, but sometimes he gets stiff in his breaks.
Johnson is a stud. He is aggressive and he can finesse. I loved watching him in the tackling drills as well as the 1v1 drills. Johnson has some good mechanics when he is reading keys. I think that he needs to do a better job of breaking down to make tackles in open space. He can let his aggression get the best of him.
Bedford is a beast in the secondary. He caught four interceptions in the 7v7 drill today. This was against some very good quarterbacks. This guy has definitely found his position. He goes to get the football with ease. He has some good hips, and he explodes when he recognizes a play. This young man also has some good closing speed on his targets. Bedford is going to be great for this team.

Kenny Grant
Kenny Grant
Grant is a guy who has some good aggression in the trenches. He has some good size standing around 5-foot-11, 230-pounds. Grant has a few things to work on, but he still was very impressive. I think he needs to work on sliding his feet quicker. His lateral movements also can be better. However, he does a great job of punching his hands. His a big boy that locks on when he gets a defender in his reach.
