Boston Hamilton
Boston Hamilton looked impressive all three times that I saw him play. He showed the ability to excel in the short to mid game, regularly firing bullets 10-25 yards down field. Every game he showed the ability to score, as he score all three games. He had two touchdowns in the last game, which saw him hit a teammate for 12 yards, 14 yards, 22 yards, 25 yards, and he also had a good throw for a 23 yard touchdown. There were multiple times that he fired a great pass down the field, but his teammates dropped it. He showed the ability to throw on the run, as there was a couple of times that he scrambled out to the right to get a good angle to hit his teammates. He occasionally made a bad decision, which is expected at that age, but he always bounced back. He is a player that always got better throughout the game.
Brody Reickard
Brody Reickard
Brody Reickard was someone that I did not get to see a lot of compared to others, but he showed a lot of potential with some big plays. He threw a bullet for 12 yards one play, excelled with short throws, and threw a 20 yard touchdown. The pass fell perfectly into his receivers arms. On the extra point, he was able to convert that. He has throw power and some accuracy for his age, which was shown when he threw the 20 yard touchdown. Impressive performances in what I saw.
Brooks Cariker
Brooks Cariker
Brooks Cariker was one of the quarterbacks that caught my eye the most. He showed great accuracy and power for someone of his age. I was able to watch him in three games and he exceled in every game. Just from the first game that I saw him play, here are some of the plays that I jotted down for him: 12 yard pass, 10 yard pass, he placed a touchdown perfectly into his receivers hands on a 20 yard pass, then it was 7 yards, 6 yards, 10 yards, 6 yards, and 10 yards. Those are just some of the stats for him in one game. He has the ability there to be special. He showed a natural passing instinct, which one fun to watch.
Deegan Brakebill
Deegan Brakebill
Deegan Brakebill is a player that I did not get to see several games, but I do like in the little bit that I saw. One one drives, he made a four yard pass and then followed that up with a 25 yard pass that he placed perfectly in traffic. That play stuck out to me, because he showed the ability to perfectly place a ball and the power to do it. He had also scored, so that definitely helped catch my attention. I did not see him as much as some of the others, but I loved what I saw in the little bit of time that I was able to watch. He showed accuracy and a little bit of power for his age, which definitely stuck out.
Logan Krtek
Logan Krtek
Logan Krtek put on one of the most impressive performances by a quarterback that I saw for the 12U. He excelled in the short to mid range, firing bullets to his teammates on a regular basis. He had three touchdowns in this game, including one that was for 30 yards. He showed power, accuracy, and the ability to react quickly when reading the defense. The defense had absolutely no answers, which it is hard to whenever a player is on fire like he was. It was an impressive performance by him and was good enough to land him on this list.
