We're back looking at more sleepers in part two of our series! These prospects are a bit underrecruited right now but I believe that trajectory will shift rather quickly. Keep an eye on these prospects as we continue to move forward throughout the 2023 offseason.

OL: Owen Lee, 6'4" 290, Carbondale, 2025

I think Lee has a ton of upside based on his size, bend, lateral movement skills, and raw strength. On tape, he explodes out of his stance, punches on a rise, and plays with an edge to him.

LB: Luke Johnson, 6'2" 200, Carterville, 2025

Luke's motor is always filled, he's got great range and has the balance to tackle much shiftier backs in space. He's physical at the point of attack, speeds his feet on tackle attempts, and is an absolute mismatch on backs in protection.

OL: Jeremiah Young, 6'7" 305, Champaign Centennial, 2024

A massive human that can move and has some torque behind his punch. On tape, Young has a clean pass set that doesn't overstride, he fights to get extension while his feet are churning and he can easily displace first-level defenders.

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='354146' first='Erik' last='Timbo'], 6'4" 260, Depaul, 2024

An easy mover as a puller that looks to bury a defender any opportunity he gets. Timbo, has a good frame, can get out & make tough blocks in space, and has no issues resetting his hands.

QB: Jack Elliot, 6' 190, Mount Carmel, 2025

A winner that plays with poise and guts regardless of what's thrown at him. Elliot is deadly accurate inside the pocket or out of it, he can drive the football off a flat base and is a tough runner between the tackles.

WR: Tyrell Lockett, 6'3" 185, Perspectives, 2024

I'm shocked this kid is not on more people's radars, he's got the size, speed, playmaking ability, and change of direction of a big-time ball player. He's explosive in space, can create on his own, and is a fiery on-field competitor.

DB: Keyandre White, 6' 170, St. Rita, 2025

This is a fundamentally sound cornerback prospect with clean footwork, excellent anticipation, and a high football IQ. White knows how to overlap in zone coverage, reads the quarterback through his three-step drop, and will shoot his hand through the targets' to ensure a pass breakup.
