In one of the more shocking recruiting moves from around the state. PrepRedzone’s number one OL in 2025 class commits to Penn State. While this move comes very premature with Matthews only being a sophomore. Penn State is one of the best schools in terms of developing offensive linemen and coach Adam Trautwein will be a great mentor to Matthews having spent over ten years in the NFL.
With the proliferation of NIL and the top college’s use of it. I fully expect this story to be far from over, but for now, Matthews is headed to Happy Valley.
Nyier is on the list every time we list a recruiting update. Nyier adds more Power 5 schools as he adds USC, Michigan State, and Minnesota to the lengthy list of schools salivating for his commitment. At 6’8 310 pounds their aren’t many offensive linemen that have the type of size at the NFL or college level. Daniels will be the hottest prospect in New Jersey come next football season.
Highlights
Jones nets an offer from Monmouth. After putting up gaudy numbers at quarterback this past season, he seems to be slowly getting on the Division One radar. We have him listed as a defensive back, and honestly, he’s one of the most athletic players in the entire class. This offer will be the first of many.
Jayden Elijah
Jayden Elijah
Matawan seems to have some Division one talent no one knows about as Boston College offers Jayden Elijah. A 6’7 300 pound sophomore OL who plays not only football but basketball. Elijah’s interest from D1 schools will heat up after this coming football season.
After making a connection with Coach Galesh and Coach Hoddie in Tennessee Cole Skinner Cole Skinner 6'5" | 305 lbs | OL Point Pleasant Boro | 2023 State NJ is headed to the University of South Florida. Skinner is another massive offensive lineman who has been dominant as a run blocker. I expect that trend to continue at the next level.
