Continue ReadingClary, a Clemson, South Carolina native, took home the coach’s MVP of the QB group. All afternoon, Clary showed plenty of poise as he attacked all levels of the field. He threw the deep ball with beautiful touch and precision. From his quick, clean release to his pocket footwork, he has good mechanics and is well-developed as a passer at his age. Already 6-foot-1 and 188-pounds he’s already a good-sized Quarterback prospect, and as he adds some arm strength, he should develop nicely.
Highlights
Kharim Hughley
Kharim Hughley
Hughley generated buzz among coaches and scouts with his clean, fluid release. Hughley got the ball out in a hurry and put some spin on it as he fired the ball into tight coverage. He is confident as a passer, placing the ball where only his receiver can make a play on the football. Hughley was especially accurate in the short and intermediate passing game and showed some promise with the deep ball.
Hunter Minton

Minton was probably the biggest riser in the QB group. As the event went on, he continued to surprise with his arm strength and general arm talent for a smaller 2027 Quarterback at a 5-foot-8 and just under 140-pounds. The Tennessee native was fairly consistent to all levels of the field and showed the ability to throw the ball with different trajectories. Minton was also one of the best testers in the QB group, running a 5.0 flat 40-time.
As far as raw arm talent is concerned, Delaune, who hails from the Jacksonville, Florida area, was the most intriguing QB prospect at the event. He has an unconventional sidearm-style release, but he can throw the ball with a lot of velocity. His quick release paired with his arm strength allows him to fit the ball into closing windows. On the deep ball, he showed the ability to layer the ball right out of reach of the defender and right into the basket of his receivers. Delaune is still growing, but he has a very high ceiling.
