2022 Season Result: 4A State Champion
Review:
The Grizzlies from Skyline are really a household name in the 4A ranks, they have become synonymous with winning. As they are coming off back to back to back state championships, this program is only continuing to improve. Graduating one of the most decorated senior classes in the state is going to be hard to replace for anyone but with young talent waiting in the wings dont count them out. Using an offense that has the state’s best player along with senior leadership from a decorated quarterback the Grizzlies were able to really score points this year. Couple that with a devastating run game centered around a running back who probably didn’t get the respect he deserved, an offensive line that not only created huge running lanes but was stout in pass protection this offense had weapons galore. On the edge it wasn’t just the gatorade player of the year this wide receiving core was deep and had talent at every spot. One of the best offenses in the entire state which they proved it week in and week out. Defensively this team had studs at every level, a young defensive line that has bright spots all over the place, linebackers who really led by example along with being sure tacklers. In the backend they had a star at safety along with a defensive backfield that was able to cover with the best of them regardless of class. The Grizzlies program is not going anywhere and everyone should be on notice that this program is one of the premier in the entire state of idaho. They are on a dominating run and everyone is excited to see where there next step is going to come from.
