Review:
Madison football is one of the top tier programs in the state with the unfortunate league structure where they play powers like Rigby and Highland which can make or break their season. The Bobcats are always going to be competitive every year using their ability to really adapt to what players they have. Depending on what they have it seems that they are always designing the best offense or defense year in and year out to the players that walk through their halls. This season was no different with a hyper athletic senior at quarterback that was able to hurt you with his legs and his arms. Spreading the defense out with their five wide receiver sets and using their do it all senior to throw and run the Bobcats could really score in a variety of different ways. The skill group that Madison boast is one of the tops in the state with a bunch of capable pass catchers but where they really separated from the rest of the pack was their ability after the catch. Using speed and skill this group was able to really make people miss in the open field. Defensively Madison is always tough and well-coached using that discipline to make it hard on opposing offenses. A very active defensive line used their ability to slant into the gaps of the offense the wreck havoc on teams run games and used their unrelenting energy to terrorize quarterbacks in the passing game. At linebacker Madison has some really good football players that make plays all over the field. Solid tacklers and toughness is what defines the group as they rarely seem to miss in the open field. In the backend that have some absolute ball hawks that are going to continue lock down opposing wide receivers. Madison is always a program that is going to be knocking on the door of the state playoffs and all it takes is one more win. This isn’t a program that is going to be going anywhere because of the talent that they have year in and year out along with a program that constantly evolves to help their players.
