Who are they? Let’s take a look…
Clinton Richard Clinton Richard 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Hiram | 2024 State GA – Holy Innocents Episcopal
A big, versatile lineman from Atlanta who will absolutely play at the D1 level, Murray is a game-wrecking lineman who can blow up any particular play in the backfield. Whether he’s lined up on the EDGE or inside, Murray is a tough, powerful lineman who uses his hands well to shed blocks and get after the ball-carrier. A new addition to the latest update, Murray now comes in at No. 192, but his sophomore film could indicate that he’s likely to climb the rankings more and more over time. He’s not the biggest or fastest, but he was effective all season long against both the run and the pass. Murray is quick off the line and has a thick, compact frame at 6-foot-2 270-pounds. He has plenty of raw strength and recently got to 335-pounds on the bench press. He’s a physical defender who knows how to hit and secure a sure tackle in the trenches. One of the top overall defensive line prospects in the Atlanta area, the up and coming prospect already holds offers from Boston College, Georgia Tech, Memphis, Stanford, among others. After a strong junior season, it was easy to add Murray to the latest Prep Redzone rankings.
Ira Singlton – Parkview
A long, athletic EDGE defender who can get after the passer, Singleton brings plenty of length and a promising frame to the Panthers defense at 6-foot-4 220-pounds. A 1st-team All-Region selection last year as a junior, Singleton was a standout defender for a Parkview program back on the rise. He’s a disruptive defender on the edge with a high motor, allowing him to make plenty of plays in the run game while being a reliable pass-rusher. After a big season where he made 40 tackles, 10 TFLs, nine sacks and one forced fumble, Prep Redzone decided to add him to the 2024 rankings, coming in at No. 130 in Georgia for the 2024 class. He holds offers from Georgia State and Arkansas State with the possibility of more coming his way this spring. He’s expected to be one of the top pass rushers in the region and possibly throughout Gwinnett County going into the 2023 season next fall.
Uche loh – EDGE – McIntosh
A two-sport standout with big-time size and an excellent frame at 6-foot-7 240-pounds, Iloh is a big junior EDGE defender and a stout basketball player with good footwork and above-average athleticism. Still somewhat of a raw football player, the Atlanta-area defender was extremely productive last season, making 90 tackles while living in the backfield with 16 TFLs. He naturally fights off blocks with ease due to his size and strength, while using his length to swat away blocks from smaller opposing tackles. He brings a big, physical presence and had his way with opposing linemen all season long. He’s tough to block one on one and he really shined all season long, making it easy to add him to the latest Prep Redzone update. Now, the McIntosh standout is ranked as the No.121 overall prospect in Georgia due to his size and overall potential. He has a veery high ceiling and has earned offers from Georgia Tech, Coastal Carolina, Iowa State, Vanderbilt, among others. He made at least 8 tackles in 8 games last year while notching 10+ tackles in three games, an impressive feat for any defensive lineman. The playmaking defender has the frame too add more muscle and mass over the next 9 months in preparation for a monster senior season in 2023. He made 10 sacks last year as a junior and could eclipse that mark with ease in his final year next fall.
