National Signing Day February Edition 2023

In today's article we are going to recap some of the big signings from yesterday. The class of 2023 in the state of Arkansas is a talented one and we are going to shine the spotlight one more time on some players that have earned it over the past four years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='75127' first='Shamar' last='Easter']-Tight End-Ashdown-6'5” 205-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the most athletic prospects in the class of 2023 has called Ashdown home over the past four years. [player_tooltip player_id='75127' first='Shamar' last='Easter'] is a prospect that can just as easily clear a path for his teammates and then be an effective weapon in the red zone. Easter is a an effective receiver at the tight end position. He does a great job of being able to high point the football and snatch it away from opposing defensive backs. On Thursday, Easter signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Congratulations go out to the future Razorback!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='137287' first='Kyle' last='Ferrie']-Kicker-Harding Academy-6'1” 165-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Harding Academy kicker has been a big weapon over the years. Ferrie has a strong leg and is an accurate kicker. Kohl's Kicking Camps has Ferrie rated as one of the top five-star kickers in the country. The Mississippi State Bulldogs recognized his talent early and extended a scholarship offer. This week, Ferrie was able to sign a National Letter of Intent to continue his playing career for the Bulldogs in Starkville. Congratulations are in order for the talented Harding Academy kicker!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='91975' first='CJ' last='Turner']-Linebacker-Star City-6'2” 205-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='91975' first='CJ' last='Turner'] displayed tremendous versatility throughout his high school career. After having a scholarship offer pulled by the Colorado staff. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane did not take long to extend a scholarship offer his way. Turner has the size and the speed to cause plenty of headaches for opposing offensive coordinators over the next few years. He does an excellent job of defeating blocks and getting into the offensive backfield. Turner has the potential to be an impact player for the Golden Hurricane over the next few seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='153937' first='Jaylin' last='McKinney']-Wide Receiver-Pulaski Academy-6'0” 180-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='153937' first='Jaylin' last='McKinney'] has a knack for getting open and creating separation from opposing defensive backs. He is able to work the underneath routes effectively. Meanwhile, he is able to stretch the field vertically using his speed. McKinney earned a scholarship offer from Ouachita Baptist earlier in the season. Look for McKinney to continue to make big plays in the passing game over the next few seasons. He has the potential to light things up on Saturdays in the future. Yurachek has tremendous instincts and does a great job of hauling down the ball carrier. He is able to get in the offensive backfield with little difficulty. He has the speed needed to drop back into coverage. Yurachek is impressive at defeating blocks and getting into the backfield. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons extended a scholarship offer and earlier this week Yurachek signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his playing career.
