Continue ReadingThis week we took a deeper look at this class. The 2025 is a very loaded class. These guys are on deck ready to make a name for themselves. There are still guys under the radar waiting to break their name out. Let’s look at some of the prospects.
Keshaun Washington, SS/OLB, Baldwin Co
Washington is a long guy who has a high motor. He never gives up on plays. Washington can be a force in the pass or rush defense. He can make solid open field tackles. I think that he is going to be a hybrid player on the next level. It will be very interesting to watch his journey. Washington looks like a guy who will gain a lot more weight. He even seems like he will get taller as well. I would love to see him playing in coverage more. He is a guy to keep up with.
Zykylan Mays, DB, Tuscaloosa Co
Mays doesn’t have much film out, but he is a guy to keep up with. Mays has some good hips. He also has a 71 inch wingspan. He only stands 5-foot-8, but I think that is definitely going to get taller. Mays has a lot of room in his body to grow. Mays has good instincts and will be a big name for his school. He’s a guy originally from Mississippi.
Eric Kirkpatrick, OL, Westbrook Christian
Kirkpatrick is another big boy who holds his own very well. He is his running back’s best friend, I would assume. Kirkpatrick gets defenders out of the way in the trenches. He has a lot of size. He is a 6-foot-4, 300-pound sophomore who plays with a lot of heart. His name is going to be big within this class. He needs to work with moving his feet a lot better. Sometimes he can seem a bit stiff.
Hugh Bodiford Hugh Bodiford 6'3" | 330 lbs | OL Auburn | 2025 State AL , C/Guard/ Auburn
Bodiford is a guy that has some great football IQ. This young man is a beast in the trenches. He is a guy who knows everybody’s assignment. Bodiford is a 6-foot-3, 320-pound prospect with a lot of upside as well. He can play a lot of different positions on the offensive line. Bodiford has the size to be a power five prospect. He even looks good on his film. He does a great job in drills as well. Keep an eye on this kid.
