The Owls have made consecutive playoff appearances and have sent players to play at the NCAA level time and time again while growing every season. This season they finished with a 10-2 record and reached the State semifinal game. Offensively they scored 329points, and defensively only allowed 64 points. We are taking a look at the recap of Dundalk’s national signing day ceremony…
Chimdy Onoh
Chimdy Onoh
The 6’6 260lbs 4-star linemen chose Penn State over multiple power 5 programs such as Ole Miss, Colorado, and Nebraska. Penn State has a reputation for it trench players and developing them into NFL caliber prospects, so I think Chimdy is in the right place if that is his goal. Onoh will be walking into a packed OL room with 21 other players. Even though the O-line room has a healthy number of players only 5 of that 21 are at least 6’6 260lbs. By the time August comes around look for Onoh to at least look the part of a starting Penn State linemen. His film is gruesome in the best way, he pancakes defenders every which way, even with one hand.
The 1st Team ALL-County back committed to Wheeling University, joining 3 current Wheeling running backs from the state of MD. He will be joining a RB room of 8, where he will be adding some size with former Anacostia athlete Jeremiah Drummond. Even though he recorded 1700+ yards and 20 TD’s Fiorenza is still yet to hit his peak, Wheeling is getting a powerful back with finesse skills through traffic, he can also catch out of the back field but absolutely can lower a shoulder and move a pile when needed.
Kevaun Briscoe
Kevaun Briscoe
Briscoe decided to further his academic and athletic career at home state Bowie State University. He chose Bowie over both Wheeling University and Alderson Broaddus. Briscoe was named 1st Team All-County and was the sure tackler in the center of the Dundalk defense.
Dale Martin
Dale Martin
Martin ended his high school career as Dundalk’s leading tackler, Maryland Crab Bowl selection, Eastern Shore Bowl selection, and 2nd Team All-Metro selection. During his standout senior season Martin landed 5 offers from Wheeling University, Frostburg State, New Haven University, Alderson Broaddus, and West Virgini Wesleyan University. Dale committed to Wheeling University, adding a great piece to their linebacker room. He’s dynamic at outside linebacker with tight end ball skills and speed. Dale will walk on to campus up against 8 traveling linebackers on Wheeling’s defense, giving him some room to standout and earn some play time.
Jullian Haddix
Jullian Haddix
Haddix held a handful of offers up until committing to the University of Charleston. Over the 2023 season he landed offers from Bridgewater College, Alderson Broaddus, and Graceland University. The 290lb prospect shows tremendous versatility by being dominant at every position on the offensive line. When Haddix arrives on campus he will be joining an offensive line group of 14 and will blend right in with the younger linemen on the roster in size.
Dajuan Jones
Dajuan Jones
Jones brings a high motor and awareness to the defensive line. He plays with his eyes in the backfield at all times, recognizes the flow of the play and causes turnovers when in pursuit. Jones is another Owl who is becoming a Cardinal. Jones held offers from Graceland University, Waynesburg University, Alderson Broaddus, and Wheeling University. Jones’s performance through 2023 earned him a selection to the 2023 BTC All-Star Game.
Ethington was named Defensive MVP in the Eastern Shore Bowl along with landing interests and offers from McDaniel College, Erie College, Alvernia University, and Gallaudet University. He decided to continue his career close to home at Gallaudet. Dawson weighs just as much or more than most fresh/soph backers on the roster, so size won’t be much of a challenge when fighting for play time.
