<p>Bonderson, along with Nick Denning of AHSTW and Ben Wheatley from North Linn were the players selected as all-state in Class A at the defensive back position from this fall.</p>

<p><strong>First Team - [player_tooltip player_id='104718' first='Keaten' last='Bonderson'] - Le Mars Gehlen - Senior</strong></p>

<p>Just call him Mr. Interception, because that is what [player_tooltip player_id='104718' first='Keaten' last='Bonderson'] was for Le Mars Gehlen. The senior picked off a leading nine interceptions, returning one for a score with 32.5 tackles. Over on the offensive side of the field, Bonderson caught 50 passes for 679 yards with 11 touchdowns, averaging almost 14 yards per reception.</p>

<p><strong>Second Team - Nick Denning - AHSTW - Junior</strong></p>

<p>What an exceptional season for AHSTW's Nick Denning, and he will have the chance to do it again as a senior this coming year. Denning recorded 112.5 tackles, with 104 being solo stops and five coming behind the line of scrimmage. He also picked off five passes and recovered a fumble.</p>

<p>Those hands came in handy on offense with 21 receptions for 266 yards including seven touchdowns. </p>

<p><strong>Third Team - Ben Wheatley - North Linn - Senior</strong></p>

<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>When it came to shutting down the other team's top receiver, Ben Wheatley had no issue taking on the challenge. The North Linn senior recorded 20 tackles with 17 being for loss, picking off five passes. Two of those interceptions went for touchdowns.</p>

<p>On offense, Wheatley caught 25 passes for 410 yards with four scores. </p>

<p><strong>Honorable Mention </strong></p>

<p>A handful of others also had strong resumes to make the list including MMCRU's Noah Galles, [player_tooltip player_id='320456' first='Kylar' last='Millard'] of Clayton Ridge, Corbin Lewis from North Butler, Bean DeRocher of Hinton and [player_tooltip player_id='105190' first='Kooper' last='Ebel'] from Hartley-HMS.</p>
