<p>Here are the all-state defensive backs from 2A this past year:</p>

<p><strong>First Team - [player_tooltip player_id='320508' first='Kellen' last='Moore'] - Forest City - Senior</strong></p>

<p>Along with being a standout wrestler who set a new school career record for wins, [player_tooltip player_id='320508' first='Kellen' last='Moore'] dominated on the football field. Moore collected over 500 yards of total offense and seven touchdowns, while racking up 98 tackles on defense.</p>

<p>A total of 62 of those were solo stops with 5.5 for loss. Moore also picked off four passes and had over 250 yards in returns, averaging 22 per kickoff return.</p>

<p><strong>Second Team - [player_tooltip player_id='248037' first='Derek' last='Weisskopf'] - Williamsburg - Junior</strong></p>

<p>The Raiders will be looking to get even more out of [player_tooltip player_id='248037' first='Derek' last='Weisskopf'] next year, as the junior standout is primed for a huge season. Weisskopf is also one of the top wide receivers in the state, having caught 37 passes for 628 yards with 12 touchdowns.</p>

<p>On defense, he had 59.5 tackles including 4.5 for loss with 43 of those being solo stops. He picked off six passes, returning one for a score, and also recovered a fumble.</p>

<p><strong>Third Team - [player_tooltip player_id='152851' first='Isaac' last='Jones'] - Clarinda - Senior</strong></p>

<p>With six interceptions, [player_tooltip player_id='152851' first='Isaac' last='Jones'] from Clarinda shared the lead with [player_tooltip player_id='248037' first='Derek' last='Weisskopf']. Jones helped the Cardinals to a winning record, securing six victories in all. He had 40.5 tackles with 35 being solo stops to go along with a team-leading 572 yards receiving and seven scores. </p>

<p><strong>Honorable Mention</strong></p>

<p>The likes of Central Lyon/George-Little Rock's Josh Elbert, Red Oak's [player_tooltip player_id='1418217' first='Adam' last='Baier'], Pocahontas Area's Jacob Gerdes and Greene County's [player_tooltip player_id='152927' first='Richard' last='Daugherty'] were all exceptional, as well.</p>
