The Big North is a intriguing league made up of four northern MI teams. Since it has gone from 6 to 4 teams, it's a bit different. Cadillac is the most consistently talented team in this league, while Gaylord, Petoskey, and Alpena have their individual stars. This article will quickly touch on some of the top prospects, and mention some departing seniors.

Cadillac has some major losses this offseason, headlined by Ferris Commit [player_tooltip player_id='243471' first='Chris' last='Reinhold']. This is a team that always seems to be in the mix, and I have no doubt they'll reload, but next season could be a bit of a down year. Logan Tuck is a bright young talent. He's able to play multiple positions and I'm very interested in seeing his primary positions next year. Cadillac also has a lot of talented basketball players on the football team, and lots of them will be taking on bigger roles in the fall.

As long as Gaylord has Brady, they'll be solid. Of course, Pretzlaff is one of the best prospects in the state, and he's an absolute wrecking ball on both offense and defense. I also didn't see many players who I find are gigantic losses, but of course every team is going to have seniors to replace.

There's not reason why Petoskey isn't a great team in the fall. They have some legit weapons, with [player_tooltip player_id='249497' first='CJ' last='Hibbler'] recently having a recruiting EXPLOSION. Hibbler at full strength is enough to make any team in the Big North tremble, and I just hope they have a defense to back up the offensive firepower.

Alpena

Best Returner - [player_tooltip player_id='249503' first='Jake' last='Zann'] (QB)

Biggest Shoes - Colt Gray (LB/TE)

Zann has a massive arm and is able to be a great QB. Whenever I watch his film, I'm genuinely impressed, but when I watch his oppenents defensive film, Zann's cracks start to show. Zann needs to keep improving and focus on cosnsitnecy. As for Colt Gray, he's a huge two-way loss for Alpena. I can only hope that this team makes a playoff run!!
