Nolan Buckman Nolan Buckman 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory | 2023 State IN – Brebeuf Jesuit – ATH – 6’0″ 185lbs
Buckman is someone who is a really interesting wildcard in this class. He’s got experience on offense at QB and WR and defense at DB. A ton of snaps all over the field, and he’s been able to have success wherever they’ve put him. At QB, he’s a bit reactionary in the pocket but almost in a good way. He doesn’t take sacks and has a fairly good timer in his head when he’s out of time. He’s fast and can take off and run. He’s got a decent arm and can whip it downfield on a rainbow and get it to where it needs to be. He could use some work with footwork and full field reads but I’m not sure if he’s looking to play WR or QB. At WR, he’s that same good athlete, except downfield obviously. He’s able to make some incredible diving grabs, 1 handed grabs, and can win contested catches with guys draped all over him. Not only that, but Buckman is an elite Wrestler. He’s a 4X Conference Champion at wrestling and that matters because of body control and all the little things wrestling teaches. Buckman is smart, a good athlete, and makes plays all over the field. He’s going to land somewhere and make them insanely happy when it’s all said and done.

Cama’Jay Terrell Cama’Jay Terrell 5'8" | 165 lbs | RB Gary West Side | 2023 State IN – Gary West Side – RB – 5’8″ 165lbs
Terrell is one of the most dynamic backs in the state who is always 1 play away from hitting the home run. His career numbers of 4,559 and 54 TDs are just nutty for a guy who isn’t even discussed as a top back, but should be. He’s got incredible and is able to get through the smallest of holes as quickly as possible. He’s out the other side and out the back door regularly. No, he’s not the biggest back which is likely what’s being used against him, but his speed and ability to get to the open field is as good as anyone in the class. He’s got good hands and could be used in the slot if needed as well. The point is, with the ball in his hands good things happen and he’s still on the board. Someone is going to land an incredibly dynamic back who can give their room a boost right away.

Noah Ammerman Noah Ammerman 5'10" | 165 lbs | WR Northeastern HS | 2023 State IN – Northeastern HS – WR – 5’10” 165lbs
Ammerman has had a steady career at Northeastern with how he’s developed and progressed through the years. However, his past 2 seasons really showed some promise to be excited about. Bringing in 76 receptions, over 1700 receiving yards, and 24 TDs over the past 2 years is exactly what you want to see. Ammerman and Terrell got in sync on the field. A QB who developed into a star, partially with the help of Ammerman and the trust they have on the field. Ammerman is someone you can trust downfield. He’s not the biggest guy but he’s got more fight than the guy across from him. He’ll go up and bring down balls he shouldn’t. He’s got the speed to get behind the defense and will do so if they’re caught flat-footed. Last year, he had a 94-yard reception. This year, he had an 87-yard reception Just an example of the speed and big play ability that Ammerman brings. He’ll return kicks and be a threat to take it to the house there as well. Ammerman is the definition of a diamond in the rough that someone is going to fall in love with when they get him in the building.

Cannon Coffee Cannon Coffee 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB North Central | 2023 State IN – North Central – DB – 6’0″ 175lbs
Coffee had a really sound career at North Central where he was regularly one of the best DBs and made plays all over the field. First things first is his closing speed. It’s a second gear he’s able to find and make plays with. With that, he’s got great range and can truly cover sideline to sideline. A play that stands out in memory is where he was in man coverage, they sent WR across the field in motion. Coffee not only stayed with him, but was actually able to pick the screen pass off. He saw it developing, trusted his eyes, and sprinted full speed across the field to match the motion. Time and time again, Coffee is able to make picks and create turnovers just because of his closing speed. Coffee put up 92 tackles, 3 TFL’s, and forced 6 turnovers in his Senior season alone. Over 9 tackles a game as a Senior is quite impressive, especially as a DB. Coffee is a really good DB that can come in, develop, and become a starter for his program and I’d be the least bit surprised.
