Below, we take a look at five prospects who can help a defense at the next level.
Connor Beerman Connor Beerman 6’0″ | 190 lbs | DB St. Dominic | 2024 MO is a two-sport student-athlete who shows his outfielding skills at safety. Connor and the rest of the St. Dominic’s football team is hungry to get back on the field after a state championship loss.
Connor’s in-the-box versatility shows attacking sweeps and outside runs with urgency. Next level instincts show diagnosing play action passes and tracking the ball in the air. Acceleration shows attacking bubble screens. College coaches like Connor’s football IQ and the discipline he shows staying in his deep zones versus play action.

Cullen Snow is a two-sport athlete who is a pitching & infielding prospect for baseball. College coaches will be sure to have Cullen’s name on their long list of Rock Bridge prospects.
Cullen’s length & athleticism shows extending outside of his frame to complete interceptions. Good instincts and quickness shows jumping screens and other underneath routes from off man coverage. Size, instincts, and skillset will have coaches inquiring about a position change to a hybrid $LB at the next level. Still, DB coaches as well as linebacker coaches will be visiting Columbia to recruit Cullen.
Aron Vazquez
Aron Vazquez
Aron Vazquez is a fearless leader on defense for Lafayette County. Aron’s effort and physicality on special teams shows an attitude defensive coaches love to see.
Aron’s natural instincts show coming downhill with urgency as an OLB in run support. Aron’s makeup speed shows chasing down crossers and swatting balls from behind. Good power and instincts show flying from the hash mark and destroying the recipients of bubble screens. Expect Aron’s height to get overlooked and his recruitment to pick up going into his senior year.

Herb Bass
Herb Bass is an outstanding member of North Kansas City High’s secondary. Whether aligning at free safety or over a slot receiver as the nickel back, Herb’s natural ball skills are valuable anywhere in a college secondary.
Herb’s tackling ability shows mirroring ball carriers in the open field. Herb’s instincts and aggressiveness show attacking the flat when he recognizes play action from an off-coverage alignment. Good tracking ability shows during Herb’s interception highlight reel. College coaches see Herb’s next level athleticism on full display tipping passes to himself and intercepting balls with one hand.
Allen Brown Allen Brown 5’11” | 170 lbs | DB Eureka | 2024 State MO received his first offer from Northern Iowa this past week. Coming off of a district championship loss, Allen and the Eureka Wildcats are hungry for another playoff run in 2023.
Allen’s top speed shows splitting defensive backs as a receiver, while his athleticism & elusiveness is on full display as a punt returner. Allen’s instincts and ball skills show decisively attacking the catchpoint from off coverage. Good size, fluid change of direction, and displays of long speed on both sides of the ball will have Allen’s recruitment heating up going into his last season.
