Griffin Pomper- University School c/o 25

Pomper is an up and coming two sport athlete (Baseball) out of University High located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was a big time player for the Sharks in 2022 finishing second on the team with 96 tackles, an outstanding 20 tackles for loss, and 1 fumble recovery as a sophomore! I expect Pomper to make big strides this spring. Pomper flashes the ability to read plays quickly and take good angles to the ball, he can also recalculate quickly to get around traffic. Solid wrap up tackler. He’s also a good student with a 3.5 GPA.

Definitely one to watch in the future.

Playing on a defense that has several division one prospects, James stood out finishing third on the team with 90 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles. James is stock is really started to take off this month picking up offers from University of Maryland and Howard University. He’s a talented player with all the physical traits, speed, and play making ability you’re looking for in a high caliber linebacker for the next level.

Otero has been a very productive player for Poinciana High School for the last few seasons. This past season he finished with 84 tackles, he averaged 8.4 tackles per game, 2 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries and 4 forced fumbles. He’s a sideline-to-sideline player that could play safety at the next level with his instincts and tackling ability.

Schmidt is a rising sophomore linebacker and two-sport athlete (Lacrosse) for Bradenton Christian. Schmidt registered 82 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 force fumbles and a blocked field goal.
