Griffen Bone: QB,FS || 6’1 || 175lbs || Kanab HS || C/O 2024
Bone helped lead the Cowboys to the 1A State Championship this past season, yet they came up short at the end. Look for him to bounce back from this season as he becomes one of the top leaders for the Cowboys and one of the top duel threat Quarterbacks in the state next season. Here are some of his highlights from this past season…
Kielen Tsosie: QB,WR || 5’11 || 140lbs || Milford HS || C/O 2025
Tsosie had an impressive sophomore season with 2,744 passing yards and 29 TDs. He’s an athletic player with good arm strength, accuracy, and has a good quick release in his passes. I expect him to take it to another level , as Tsosie returns as a junior he’ll be more at the experienced at the position and the Tigers will need him to make a deep run to the 1A State Championship.
Iverson Report: Edge,FB || 6’0 || 250lbs || Layton C.A || C/O 2025
Report helped lead the Eagles to win the 1A State Championship while recording 39 solo tackles and 12 sacks. Report plays with good bend and burst in his stance with good initial quickness to read and react at the LOS. Shows good strength to control and shed blocks. A sure tackler that can make the hit at the LOS, expect him to be a huge contributor for the Eagle’s defense for years to come.
Parker Holt: DL || 6’1 || 215lbs || Enterprise HS || C/O 2024
Holt had a productive junior season with 65 tackles and 4 sacks.He returns as one of the top starters for the Wolves next season. After an upset lost to the Cowboys in the 1A State Playoffs, he’ll be looking to get his team where it belongs…the State Championship.
Randy Anderson: DL || 6’5 || 330lbs || Layton C.A || C/O 2025
Anderson will look to fill in the role left by star defensive linemen Tevita Pome’e Tevita Pome’e 6'3" | 315 lbs | DL Layton Christian Academy | 2023 State UT now that he will play for the Oregon Ducks. Anderson size and strength should help that Eagle’s defense and he will look to contribute as the Eagles will try to repeat as 1A State Champions.
