Julian Lewis Julian Lewis 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Carrollton | 2025 GA – QB – Carrollton
If you didn’t see it for yourself, it’s hard to wrap your mind around the freshman season that Julian Lewis Julian Lewis 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Carrollton | 2025 GA had in 2022. One of the best seasons for any freshman in Georgia high school football history, Lewis led the 7A Carrollton Trojans all thee way to the state-championship game as the starting quarterback. He may be young, but the 6-foot-1 180-pounder played beyond his years in 2022, breaking records and making himself knows as one of the top overall prospects across the country in the 2026 class. Right now, you could make the case he’s the best of the best. A strong, armed quarterback with outstanding accuracy and an understanding of the position, Lewis was a playmaker who loves to sling the ball successfully down the field. He has great pocket presence, reads the field, and shows terrific ball placement. He threw all over defenses on a weekly basis, finishing his first season with 4,118 yards and 48 touchdowns. He’s an elite prospect with multiple impressive D1 offers, and he earned another massive offer this week from the Ohio State Buckeyes. Look for him to shatter some Georgia passing records over the next few years.
Deuce Geralds – DL – Collins Hill
One of the top DL prospects across the country in the 2026 class, Geralds looked like a man among boys last year and did it against some high-quality 7A talent last season. Playing for the reigning 7A state champions, Geralds make an immediate impact in his first season, showing off his natural athleticism and the ability to get into the backfield and get after the quarterback. Thee 6-foot-3 240-pounder is as strong as an ox, has big, powerful hands, and knows how to shed blocks with ease. He’s fundamentally sound, quick off the ball, and runs well for his size and his age. He has a great motor and gives 100% every play, often leading to big plays in the backfield. He can set the EDGE against the run, but if not blocked properly in pass protection, he has a knack forgetting off blocks and harassing the quarterback. As a freshman in 2022, Geralds was excellent against top competition on a weekly basis, making 66 total tackles, 175 TFLs and 10.5 sacks. He showed easy 5-star potential and earned a major offer last week from LSU. Look for him to havee just about every offer in the book when it’s all said and done.
Zelus Hicks Zelus Hicks 6'3" | 175 lbs | DB Parkview | 2026 State GA – DB – Parkview
A playmaking defensive back with natural instincts in coverage, it’s easy to see why the Parkview Panther standout is seen as one of the top 2026 prospects in Georgia. He has really goos size right now at 6-foot-3 180-pounds and brings a lot to the table in the secondary. He’s versatile, has a high football IQ, and covers a lot of ground down the field in coverage. Against the run, he tackles good angles to the ball carrier and knows how to make a secure tackle. He reacts quickly and knows how to make a play when he needs too. Playing on an extremely talented defense, Hicks was able to hold his own and make an immediate impact as a freshman. An impressive feat for anyone to make that type of an impact for a major 7A program. In coverage, the reads the quarterback well and knows how to locate the football. His talent is easy to see, and he has a chance to be a top-5 player in Georgia for the 2026 class if he continues to improve and develop over the next three years. As a freshman last year, Hicks made 28 tackles and two INTs. He already has an impressive offer list, and last week he earned a new one from Auburn.
Peyton Zachary Peyton Zachary 5'8" | 160 lbs | WR Kell | 2026 State GA – WR – Kell
The most productive freshman wide receiver in Georgia last year, the Cobb County standout was an explosive, dependable weapon for for Kell offense and made a giant impact from week one. A speedy, shifty receiver with excellent hands, Zachary was consistent catching the football all season long, reeling in 52 passes for 868 yards and six touchdowns, leading the 2026 class in each category last year. He may not be thee biggest receiver around, but he’s versatile, hard to corral, and dangerous after the catch. He’s a vertical threat who can get behind the defense with ease, allowing him to be a down-field option when the offense needs a big play. He can elude defenders with the ball, but he also shows an impressive vertical, allowing him to leap up and catch the ball over defenders. He has great hands, body control, and natural playmaking ability. Zachary flashed easy D1 ability as a freshman and his recruitment is starting to pick up, adding a new offer last week from Western Kentucky
