The ALL-AMERICAN BOWL Team Wonderful West! (Texas)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Saturday, January 7th, 2023 top athletes from the whole country gathered in San Antonio, Texas to play in The All-American Bowl. The majority of the Texas athletes were on Team West. I'll be covering the standout Texas athletes from Team West. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Kinkaid Falcons #23 [player_tooltip player_id='136194' first='Micah' last='Bell'] DB 5'11 170 lbs </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='136194' first='Micah' last='Bell'] is incredibly athletic he is strong, fast, quick, and a very hard hitter. Micah is multitalented be able to line up as a quarterback, wide receiver, or cornerback. Micah during the All-American game played as a cornerback and was able to start on the very 1st drive. Micah at 1st had difficulty covering high-level wide receivers, but throughout the game, he was able to adjust to them tightly covering any wide receiver he played against. Notre Dame has a great athlete in [player_tooltip player_id='136194' first='Micah' last='Bell'].&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>College: University of Notre Dame </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Eisenhower #15 [player_tooltip player_id='375356' first='Ryan' last='Niblett'] WR 5'10 170 lbs</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The University of Texas's newly recruited [player_tooltip player_id='375356' first='Ryan' last='Niblett'] is an outstanding All-American athlete. Ryan is an exceptionally fast player and can play any skilled position on the offensive side of the ball. It didn't matter what position Ryan was in if he touched the ball he is a threat. Ryan zoomed past the competition and there was no catching up to him. Even though team West didn't do well in general Team East's defense had difficulty covering Ryan.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>College: University of Texas </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Smithson Valley #77 [player_tooltip player_id='60864' first='Colton' last='Thomasson'] OT 6'8 325 lbs</em></strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='60864' first='Colton' last='Thomasson'] is the biggest high school offensive lineman I've ever seen. Because of his size and power, Colton is a perfect protector even the strongest and quickest defensive linemen couldn't get through him. Colton was great at both run and pass blocks he would never his feet until his man was on the ground. By watching this game I see why Colton is one of the top-ranked offensive linemen in the country.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>College: Texas A&amp;M University</strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>El Campo #4 Rueben Owens II RB 5'11 190 lbs</em></strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rueben Owens II was the most prominent athlete at the All-American game. Rueben is the #1 ranked running back in the whole nation for a reason. Rueben's standout trait is his speed, elusiveness, and difficulty to tackle and bring down. These phenomenal skills Rueben possess makes him the best running back in the nation and being able to compete against All-American defensive players on his level he was able to showcase his ability in strides. Rueben will be a valuable asset at Texas A&amp;M University.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>College: Texas A&amp;M University</strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Dripping Springs #16 [player_tooltip player_id='121942' first='Austin' last='Novosad'] QB 6'3 185 lbs </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='121942' first='Austin' last='Novosad'] is a top 10 athlete in all of Texas and one of the best quarterbacks in the nation he gave us a great show of his skills at The All-American game. Austin has exceptional awareness and superb passing form giving great passes to his wide receivers. Austin has great footwork allowing him to scramble and run with the ball for a big yard gain.
