The Southern Elite Combine is a great place to do that. This event has some nice coaches and trainers who teach these kids a lot. Let’s check out the guys.
Quincy Phillips Quincy Phillips 5'8" | 180 lbs | ATH Brandon | 2025 State MS , RB/WR, Brandon, 2025
Phillips is a stud who excels on the field. Last week he was lighting it up at the Future Elite Game at Decatur, MS. This week he did it at the Southeast Combine. Quincy is a guy that can play running back slot receiver. I think that he can be a Deebo Samuel type of player. Phillips knows how to run good routes. He also has good hands. Phillips always does well in 1v1 and 7v7 competitions. He is one heck of a player. Phillips should start getting offers soon. Needs to keep attending these nice events to get his name out there.
Wyatt Bond Wyatt Bond 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Lamar | 2025 State MS , QB, Lamar, 2025
Bond is a good quarterback. He is a part of that very special 2025 quarterback class. This young man knows how to compete. He has good accuracy and also has a strong arm. He can get the job done. Bond also has some good size. He isn’t a small guy. That may be a big factor in his recruiting process. Yesterday he was delivering balls on the money. He was also a receiver favorite. A lot of guys wanted to catch balls from Bond. That’s when you know you are having a good day at quarterback. He is a stud.
Kewan Minor, ATH, Amite Co, 2025
Minor was trouble blazing fast today. He has been clocked in at a 4.39. This young man knows how to use his wheels. He also did good when the 7v7 competition was on. I think that if he continues to work on his routes he will be a great slot receiver on the next level. This kid plays the game like a champion. He loves to compete. The more he attends events like this, the more he can get his name out there. He has the speed that can make his game trouble for a lot of players.
Eric Moore, LB, Ocean Springs, 2024
Moore was out there doing his thing. He did a great job playing in coverage. He also did a great job running drills. Moore is a kid who will start to receive a lot of attention soon. He is another guy that needs to keep attending events like this.
