This is usually the time of year when certain prospects begin to blow up on the trail. Some of those prospects have picked up their first offer, we’re here to tell you who.
Uche Iloh Uche Iloh 6'7" | 230 lbs | DL McIntosh | 2024 State GA – 2024 – EDGE/DE – McIntosh
Iloh was someone I pinpointed earlier this week as a freak athlete with plenty of upside. Shortly thereafter, Georgia Tech sent Iloh his first offer. Iloh is no stranger to the recruiting scene as the 6’7 240 pound freakshow athlete is one of the more notable basketball prospects in the entire state. When you turn on the tape, you will see that Iloh possesses a blend of raw power and explosiveness which makes him a prototype defender on the edge. He can set the edge with his prescience alone, and his explosive first step allows him to get around the edge quickly. As he refines his game and continues to develop, Iloh will steadily start climbing up recruiting boards across the country. Athletically, there aren’t many players in the entire country built like Iloh.
Kyle Vaka Kyle Vaka 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Kell | 2024 State GA – 2024 – WR – Johns Creek
It was a matter of time until Vaka picked up his first offer. The speedy Johns Creek product had a breakout junior season, emerging as his team’s leading receiver on the season. Vaka has generated plenty of buzz for the last year or so, and finally has a UAB offer to show for it. Vaka has always had great speed and separation ability, but he showed some physicality on film this season which makes him an even bigger threat on the outside. His best football is still ahead of him and it’s only a matter of time before more programs get involved.
Zayd Rogan – 2025 – DB – Kell
Rogan is one of many Kell prospects starting to emerge on the recruiting trail. The scrappy DB prospect put himself on the map with a solid sophomore season where he finished with 3 INTs and 14 PBUs. Rogan picked up his first offer earlier this month from Boston College. Over the past week, he has added more offers from Georgia Southern and Appalachian State. Rogan’s speed makes him a sticky defender that can run with anyone. He has great ball skills and is able to knock the ball away with his peskiness. Rogan has a skillset that usually translates to the next level, which makes him a fun prospect to keep track of over the next few seasons.
Alex Payne Alex Payne 6'5" | 265 lbs | OL Gainesville | 2025 State GA – 2025 – OL – Gainesville
The younger classes over at Gainesville high school are flooded with future P5 talent, Alex Payne Alex Payne 6'5" | 265 lbs | OL Gainesville | 2025 State GA has become one of the headliners for the Red Elephants. Finishing up his sophomore season, Payne shows a lot of big-time traits on film and is just starting to crack the surface. Payne has a great frame at 6’6 265 with plenty of room to add more mass. He is a great athlete for a big man, showing twitchiness in his lower body and the ability to climb to the second level quickly. With his length and athleticism, Payne looks like he could develop and project out as a true left tackle. With his size and upside, the Kentucky offer is just one of many set to come his way.
