The game has become extremely pass-happy and teams typically need to be four-to-six athletes deep on the outside to keep guys fresh and dangerous on the outside. Here’s a look at some of the Wide Receivers we liked at the PRZ Next Texas camp and could blossom into those key playmakers.
Coming out of the highly-talented, highly-respected Desoto area in Texas, Ethan Feaster Ethan Feaster 6’2″ | 175 lbs | WR Desoto | 2027 State TX is a wide receiver who put together an outstanding camp down in Texas. Being named the MVP out of the Wideout group, Ethan was the clear-cut choice after the performance he put together. During the testing portion of the camp, Ethan showcased a lightning fast 40 yard dash, and a smooth cutting shuttle time. It was clear after seeing the results, that Ethan was a high caliber receiver that could blow the top off of coverages and break off routes with ease. From what I saw in drill work and 1 on 1’s, Ethan proved to be a smooth running wideout with outstanding hands that make him an absolute problem on the gridiron. With everything that I saw from Ethan, it is clear that he is going to be generational talent, and college scouts have noticed him to. With him collecting several Division 1 offers and a few Power 5 offers, it is clear that Ethan is following a path that leads to a very bright future.

Aden Starling Aden Starling 6’1″ | 175 lbs | WR Iowa Colony | 2027 State TX is another wideout coming out of this class who put together a stunning performance at the Prep Redzone Next Camp in Texas. Coming out of the H-Town suburbs, Aden is a shifty receiver who could play inside or outside receiver. During the testing portion of the camp, Aden put up some flashy numbers with a very impressive 40 time, shuttle time, and an explosive broad jump. During the drill work time, Aden showed off his ability to break off quick game routes as well as breakaway speed after securing the catch. Overall, Aden is an athlete that would fit in to any offense that wants to sling the ball around the yard. With his big play abilities, he is the type of kid that will be a no brainer for teams to take a chance on down the road. With the interest in Aden beginning to increase, it won’t be long until he stacks more offers on top of the two Division offers that he is currently holding. Aden has an incredibly bright future ahead of him, and I am excited to see where the game takes him.

Another stud receiver to come out of this Prep Redzone Next Texas group is Landon Bogany Landon Bogany 6’2″ | 190 lbs | WR Lewisville | 2027 State TX . Coming out of the Dallas-Area, Landon is a big receiver with a long frame to work with. With his size being a huge asset to his game, Landon has the body type that trends more towards him being an exterior wide receiver. During test outs, Landon showcases impressive speed, change of direction and explosion. With the on-paper ability being where it is, Landon translated his test results over to the football specific drill work and 1 on 1’s. With his wide catch radius and clean breaks in and out of routes, Landon proved that he can get the job done of the field. One of the most impressive things that caught my eye was his ability to high point the ball and bring it down with out much effort being put into it. From everything that I saw from Landon at camp, I have no problem putting my seal of approval on his talent on the field. Having said that, it won’t be long before Landon begins to stack offers from big name programs down the road.
Blake Thomas Blake Thomas 5’9″ | 150 lbs | ATH Rockhurst | 2027 MO is another receiver that people need to know about, and he proved it by being on of the top performers in this group. Hailing from the Sunflower State of Kansas, Blake is a speedy wide receiver who has unmatched change of direction skills and body control. With the impressive performance that he put on during the testing session of the camp, I knew that he was going to be a dude that would make it into the top tier of this wide receiver group. With incredible acceleration of the ball, if Blake is getting vertical on his routes, defenses better prepare to give him some cushion as he can break coverages with his speed alone. Blake also has some of the best hands that I have seen in his class, and has no problem making big time catches when the pressure is on. With everything that I have seen from him, Blake is an athlete that every offense needs with his play making ability. I can say confidently that it will not be long until Blake is making big time plays and big catches on the big stage and I am excited to see what his future holds for him.

Trysten Shaw is another wideout that I project to pop up on everyone’s radar very soon. Coming out of the very talent Dallas Suburbs, Trysten has freak of nature athleticism that has his career trending much like his father Terrence Shaw’s career. With lighting fast times on both the 40 yard dash and the shuttle, Trysten proved that he is going to be the fastest dude on the field at all times. Trysten showcased his unbelievable ability to break in and out of routes during the drill work portion of the camp. With as smooth as he seemed to be in his routes, he seems like he would be an absolute nightmare to defend in coverage. He also proved that he is capable of catching just about every ball that is thrown his way with a phenomenal catch radius and sure hands. From everything that I saw from him in camp, Trysten is a surely going to be a game changer for Rockwall Heath at the High School level and is going to be a game changer once he hits the big stage under the lights of big time college football.
