There’s a reason Left Tackles are traditionally among the highest paid athletes on the team–they protect the guys who get the headlines. Not only do should they have to be ability to run block and pass block, but the big guys up front also set the tone early and often. Here are several Offensive Linemen that stood out.
Brock Allen Brock Allen 6'4" | 295 lbs | OL OK
Brock Allen Brock Allen 6'4" | 295 lbs | OL OK
The Oklahoma native was the lone seventh-grader to earn recognition up front, as he won’t be in high school until the fall of 2028. Measured in with good size at 6-foot and 260-pounds and has a lot of mass to work with going forward. He held his own against some very good players at the camp but there was a clear distinction between where he is now and where he needs to be. Often overlooked by young linemen, improving his foot speed and lateral ability will be important. I liked his natural strength when battling during 1-on-1’s and there is potential for solid play out of Allen, as he progresses forward in his career.
Dylan Johnikin
Dylan Johnikin
One of several talented kids from the Brewer Middle School program to have a strong showing at the camp. I was surprised to Johnikin measured in at only 5-foot-9 and 275-pounds because he looked significantly bigger than that suited up for the Bears this season, and at the camp. He’s an improving athlete that is pretty good on his feet for a bigger young man. The 2027 prospect shuffled his feel well and displayed decent coordination. His effort was there from the opening whistle to the last one.
Jayden Morales Jayden Morales 6'0" | 230 lbs | DL Desoto | 2027 TX

For a prospect measuring in at only 5-foot-9 and 215-pounds, Morales was a borderline First Team selection with what he displayed on the field. For being one of the lighter hogmolly’s in attendance, Morales was also unquestionably one of the strongest and more athletic big’s there. Understood and displayed ability to hand fight and use leverage at a far superior level than others. Long term, could see him as a Defensive End because of his quickness and aggressive skill set. Played his regular season ball for McCowan Middle School and also played club ball with the DEA Dragons, both programs that played against excellent competition from August through December.
