Class of 2023
Santana Wooten Santana Wooten 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB Miami Palmer Trinity | 2023 FL | RB | Miami Palmetto | @santana_wooten
5’10, 185-pounds
Wooten was one of the more well-built and natural athletes featured in the running back group. Figured he could play linebacker as well until I noticed how agile he was in the open field. Wooten displayed good balance and body control when cutting which contributed to a couple of linebackers falling in 1v1 sessions. What was most impressive was his ability to run the ball laterally and get upfield with decent speed. Good lower body strength with a developed frame. Tested well throughout the day.
Gerral Blue Jr Gerral Blue Jr 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB Le | 2023 State FL . | ATH | Lehigh | @GerralB
5’11, 200-pounds
Blue can play both sides of the ball but tested with the running back group on Sunday. Blue is a stocky athlete with a good frame. He showed off a decent burst and was impressive during individual position drills. Blue actually ran one of the faster times at the camp with a 4.47 time in the 40-yard dash. Has a good ability to cut and make moves quickly. The Lehigh prospect talent can provide running back and linebacker play, with length and upside to a mid-level school.
Christopher Harris Christopher Harris 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Sebastian River | 2023 FL | QB | Sebastian River | @C_Harris772
6’4, 210-pounds
Another well-developed and unsigned 2023 protect that displayed his potential upside. Harris has really good arm strength and accuracy that stood out amongst the quarterback group. He certainly has the measurables with a 6’4 height but also showed off the intangibles such as intelligence and downfield vision. Harris gets in done in the classroom with a 4.4 GPA and earned a recent PWO offer from Tusculum University.
Hector Delgado | ATH | Landstown | @hectortrppy
5’9, 170-pounds
Delgado earned his way on the list because he wasn’t afraid to step and get reps while playing on both sides of the ball. Has decent route-running skills with strong hands on the catch. Had the ability to play defensive back because of his speed and awareness of the game. Decent athlete despite the smaller frame. Delgado showed off decent twitch in open space.
Rodrigo Fernandez IMG Academy | @rodrigofdz55
6’2, 220-pounds
Unfortunately wasn’t able to watch Fernandez compete in the final 1v1 drills but I left impressed with his ability to track down runners and close the gap during positional drills. The unsigned linebacker led IMG Academy’s white team in solo (22), assisted (27) and total tackles (49) to finish his senior season.
