Continue ReadingYesterday, the PrepRedzone Stock Up Showcase Tour made a stop in the Sunshine State and once again brought our unmatched coverage, camp model, and professional attitude to the illustrious IMG Academy in Bradenton. No matter how many times I get to step foot on their campus I am still blown away by the facilities and sheer size of the place, and their staff was as welcoming as it gets in hosting us and the 100ish athletes and families who converged on IMG to put some work in on a Sunday. Speaking of the athletes, the competition was absolutely stacked. Talent across every position group on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, with prospects coming from deep in the Panhandle and as far South as the Keys, with strong contingents from Tampa, Miami, Ocala, and Newbery, not to mention a standout all the way from Virginia Beach, VA. To kick off my highlights from the Stock Up stop, I’m naming the PrepRedzoneFL Showcase’s All-Underclassman Team. Loaded with P5 talent across the board, you’re going to want to get to know these names now, as they’re going to be big-time football recruits before we know it. Stay tuned for more coverage of the event over the next couple of days as well. Let’s dig in!

Quarterback
#3: John Kostuch (Ridge Community) 2025.
Still on the light side, Kostuch was a varsity starter as a sophomore for Ridge Community and showed good timing and touch. Was poised and confident for his age as well.
#17: Preston Wright Preston Wright 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons | 2025 State FL (Trinity Catholic) 2025.
The Ocala gunslinger was confident and natural at displaying his standout accuracy all day in Bradenton. Quick release, good timing, and showed touch on his deep balls and velocity on his underneath throws. Good athlete and solid size for height age as well. Also a great kid who is approachable, humble, and confident. Earned the varsity starting job at TC as a sophomore this past fall and showed why yesterday.
#9: Niko Boyce Niko Boyce 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Barron Collier | 2025 FL (Barron Collier) 2025.
Not my first time seeing Naples product sling the rock, and in addition to his arm talent, the 2025er started things off with a bang and ran a 4.4 flat and 4.41 in the 40 to open things up as a dual-threat from the QB spot. As mentioned, the ball whipped out of his hand with a different kind of zing and he could stretch the field easier than almost every other QB in attendance.
#52: Anthony Miller (Sarasota Riverview) 2026.
With a ton of hype coming into the PRzFL Showcase at IMG Academy, Miller was as advertised and has already made noticeable gains in the weight room, possessing a cut up and defined lower body that he used to zip the ball accurately to all levels of the field. Threw a good deep ball, showed ball placement and arm strength from different arm angles, and possessed smooth footwork that was clean and consistent during drill work. Must-know name from the 2026 QB class in Florida who is well beyond his peers in a variety of aspects.
Running Back
#38: Elija Mason Elija Mason 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Gaither | 2026 FL (Plant) 2026.
A PRzFL Showcase standout and veteran despite the freshman classification, I’ve been lucky to watch the Tampa product since he was in middle school and he continues to grow, develop, and sharpen his game every time I see him. Solid build, shifty in his cuts with great timing, and outstanding in space and in 1-on-1 settings. Soft hands and a good route runner for his age and position as well. Just transferred from Gaither to Plant and got varsity reps as a freshman. He’ll be tearing up the spring/summer camp circuit soon.
#33: Mason Burriss Mason Burriss 5'8" | 160 lbs | RB Riverview | 2025 FL (Riverview) 2025.
Riverview High School in the Tampa area had one of the strongest showings of any single program represented at IMG and sophomore RB Mason Burriss Mason Burriss 5'8" | 160 lbs | RB Riverview | 2025 FL put out one of the most explosive performances I’ve seen in the 40 while covering PrepRedzone Showcases the past three years. Burriss went 4.41 and 4.34 back-to-back, and was a fluid and smooth runner who was noticeably swift both out of his stance and when he hit top speed. Also shifty, Burriss‘ strong hips allowed him to stay square and not indicate where he was cutting to. Had a mean jump cut as well.
Wide Receiver
#62: Noah Chieffo Noah Chieffo 6'5" | 195 lbs | WR Venice | 2026 FL (Venice) 2026.
Eye-popping size and length at a verified 6’3 with an even longer wingspan. Already a mature athlete, Chieffo ran 4.8 in the 40 and proved to be a consistent deep-threat throughout 1-on-1s. Huge catch radius, body control, and opened 1-on-1s with one of the most impressive snags of the day on a one-handed, diving reception on a slightly overthrown ball in the endzone. Playing at heavyweight Venice High School, Chieffo should be making an appearance on the varsity scene for the Indians this spring & fall.
#37: Gerald Lawton III Gerald Lawton III 5'9" | 160 lbs | WR Trinity Catholic-Ocala | 2025 FL (Trinity Catholic) 2025.
The Ocala product and Trinity Catholic standout was the only athlete to earn MVP honors in two positions, starting things off at WR and eventually showing out at DB on top of it. Excellent change of direction skills at both positions and particularly effective at the top of the route as as a WR. Soft hands, naturally sticky in coverage, and overall one of the most dynamic athletes in attendance.
#61: Colton Foster (Tradition Prep Academy) 2025.
Coming out of Port St. Lucie, Foster held some of the best height of the talented WR group at IMG Academy and knew how to use it, showing a big catch radius and the ability to go up and high-point the football. Could win contested catches as well. Solid X receiver prospect.
Tight End
#29: Jaden Key Jaden Key 6'4" | 245 lbs | RB Riverview | 2025 FL (Riverview) 2025. 6’4, 240 lbs.
Verified size and a thick build at 6’4, 240 lbs… Another Riverview High School standout in Bradenton, Key was a definite highlight, posting a 4.90 and 4.91 in the 40 at a legit 240. Also had strong hands that could reel in catches through contact and could run a good variety of routes from the TE spot.
Offensive Line
#68: Austin Freud Austin Freud 6'1" | 220 lbs | OL Lemon Bay | 2025 FL (Lemon Bay) 2025.
Undersized, but pound-for-pound the toughest athlete in attendance and a top performer out of the OL group at the PRzFL Showcase in Bradenton. Excellent base, well-timed punches from his OT spot, and could consistently stay square and work through DL counters and pass rush moves. Did well against much bigger defensive lineman during 1-on-1s.
#80: Gerard Gearity (Osceola) 2026.
Good size for a freshman OL product and was a coaches favorite and top performer during 1-on-1s against a talented DL group. Strong enough to hold off bull rushes and was hard to disengage from when he got hands on.
#66: (Newberry) 2026.
The offensive representative for the Newberry High School talented squad of standouts yesterday, freshman OT Dawson possesses good size and a strong anchor that could battle against power moves and also showed a solid vertical set that could gain ground and fend off speed rushes upfield. Strong for his age and also displays a balanced skillset beyond his years. Is getting good work day-to-day against a loaded DL group at Newberry as well. Competitive and focused during 1-on-1s.
Defensive Line
#74: Jarquez Carter Jarquez Carter 6'3" | DL Newberry | 2025 State FL (Newberry) 2025. 6’3, 270 lbs.
A top overall MVP regardless of position, Carter showed up and showed out representing Newberry High School, who you will be hearing about a lot during the recap of the DL. Explosive out of his stance and a massive and verified 6’3, 270, Carter‘s combination of speed and quickness overwhelmed offensive lineman the entire 1-on-1 portion of the PRzFL Showcase. Laterally agile and could set up blockers as well as counter effectively to win reps. P5 DT prospect.
#26: Mykah Newton Mykah Newton 6'3" | 240 lbs | DL Newberry | 2025 State FL (Newberry) 2025.
Great length, powerful get-off, and consistently low pad level were some of my favorite traits from the Newberry DE, who was a solid 6’3, 230+ at the PRzFL Showcase. Active and effective hand usage as well that could counter and keep blockers off balance throughout the rep.
#21: Logan Mccloud Logan Mccloud 6'2" | DL Newberry | 2025 FL (Newberry) 2025. 6’2, 230 lbs.
Another long, dangerous build from the sophomore class at Newberry High School near Gainesville, McCloud operates as a stand-up EDGE with bend and the quickness to easily cross opposing tackles faces. Also effective with his hands and could drop his hips and use strong body positioning to get skinny and cut off blocking attempts when working inside. Balanced skillset as a pass rusher.
#24: Mcowens Innocent Mcowens Innocent 6'3" | 210 lbs | DL Berean Christian | 2025 FL (Berean Christian) 2025.
Coming out of West Palm Beach and Berean Christian School, Innocent was a top DL performer as well as an obvious member of the All-Name Team from the PRzFL Showcase. Powerful 6’3, 210, Innocent was pound-for-pound one of the strongest DL in attendance and could transition from speed to power effectively and dangerously against OTs. Good showing in all three phases of the Showcase as well.
Linebacker
#20: Jaiden Trengrove (Trinity Catholic) 2025.
Already a PRzFL Showcase veteran, Trengrove was a member of the impressive Trinity Catholic unit that showed up and showed out at IMG yesterday. Well built, with broad shoulders and a thick lower body, Trengrove played harder than any other LB and is explosive out of his stance and when he sticks his foot in the ground and gets downhill. Laterally quick, physical, and a workhorse in the competition and camp setting.
#36: Kofi Brown (Riverview) 2025.
Another Riverview standout, Brown was confident and upped his game during competition, playing hard and using footwork and balance to track RBs in space.
#7: Brady Messick Brady Messick 5'11" | 225 lbs | ATH Palm Harbor University | 2025 FL (Palm Harbor U)
Cut up frame with a powerful upper body and was solid in the 1-on-1 competition portion of the PRzFL Showcase.
#19: Jeremiah McKenzie (Bradford) 2025.
Possessing length and a ton of room to continue to grow and add weight, Mckenzie was lightning quick at squeezing and closing on ball carriers in space and in 1-on-1 settings. Was a shut down presence in the RB vs. LB drills in the run game and pass support and had the speed and footwork to really be an asset in coverage. Played with solid angles as well.
Defensive Back
#41: Joshua Wilson Joshua Wilson 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Navarre | 2025 FL (Navarre) 2025.
Wilson started the day off in eye-catching fashion, posting a 4.44 in the 40. He used that speed during 1-on-1s confidently as well, playing aggressively on shorter routes knowing that he could always stay over the top on deep routes. With quick feet and strength at the catch point, Wilson had a strong skillset for the CB position and had a good day in all three phases of the PRzFL Showcase.
#54: Charleston Floyd Charleston Floyd 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Pensacola Pine Forest | 2025 FL (Pensacola Catholic) 2025. 6′, 180 lbs.
Nearly 6’1 with a ton of length and a strong 180 lb. build, Floyd drove more than 7 hours to compete at the PRzFL Showcase at IMG and was my favorite prospect of the day. One of the most surefire P5 DBs I’ve seen covering live events of all kinds for PRZ, Floyd’s body control and ability to mirror and break on wide receiver’s routes was outstanding all day long. Physical enough to press, super loose hips, and fast enough to stay on top of wideouts, he had one of the most complete and balanced coverage skillsets I’ve seen in a sophomore and he was lockdown all afternoon long during 1-on-1s. Also, a humble, competitive, and fun kid to talk to who I will very much stand on the table for in the future. Fresh off his first offer from USF and many more are on the way. My overall MVP, ladies and gentlemen.
