Review:
In one of the most dominant seasons to date the Knights of Bishop Kelly were just that. Defensively the Knights led all of the 4A in points per game. Using a mixture of senior leadership and some stellar juniors this defense was one to fear. With starts at every level this BK team will be remembered for having one of the best linebacking crews in the entire state. With players who are going on to play college football this group was smart, tenacious and most of all were the epitome of leadership. The defensive line was equally as devastating making it almost impossible to beat the Knights on the ground. Using strength along with speed they were able to disrupt so many offenses this year. In the secondary they were led by one of the best athletes in the state who used not only his high football IQ but also his knack for the football to be an absolute dominant force in the back end. On offense the Knights used their ground and pound offense to completely dismantle teams this season. Led by a senior quarterback who will go down as one of the best field generals in the state using his ability to play fake to his advantage. A junior running back who really burst onto the scene this season who used his bruising style to grind out yards every week. What might be the most exciting for the Knights is the studs that return on their offensive line that helped paved the way for one of the top offenses in the state. This BK team will go down as one of the best to every do it even if the season didnt end exactly as they wanted they dominated the competition.
