<p>The 2022 High School football season has now wrapped up. Throughout this season I've seen a ton of phenomenal athletes from the city of Houston. In this article, I will be covering standout athletes on offense from the city of Houston.</p>

<p><em><strong>Katy Tigers [player_tooltip player_id='121974' first='Seth' last='Davis'] RB Sr 5'8 170 lbs</strong></em></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='121974' first='Seth' last='Davis'] is one of the most notorious running backs in all of Texas. Seth is the most dependable and most valued player on The Katy Tigers roster. Once the ball touches Seth's hands he runs with breakneck speed and will be left untouched to the end zone. Seth is also difficult to tackle showcasing how important the weight room is by powering through defenders. Seth throughout his whole high school career at Katy has rushed for over 7,000 yards setting a personal record at Katy High School.</p>

<p><strong><em>Langham Creek [player_tooltip player_id='122021' first='Jaquaize' last='Pettaway'] WR Sr 5'11 170 lbs</em></strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='122021' first='Jaquaize' last='Pettaway'] is one of the fastest high school football players in Texas and the fastest in Houston. Langham Creek isn't one of the most competitive schools in Houston, but Jaquize's talents shined so bright that many college and football camps noticed him. Jaquaize couldn't be touched no one he played against could match his speed. Jaquaize strongest trait was running with the ball wide and hugging the out-of-bound line and going to the end zone. Jaquaize was even selected to play in The Under-Armour All-American game in Orlando, Florida. Jaquize had a stellar high school football career and will accomplish amazing feats at The University of Oklahoma next season.</p>

<p>Woodlands High School has a great offensive secondary and quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='146594' first='Mabrey' last='Mettauer'] can utilize all of them almost perfectly. Mabrey has textbook form and technique with a great arm, but not only that he is quick and decisive under pressure. Mabrey can avoid tackles, scramble well, and wasn't afraid to run the ball. Mabrey recently committed to The University of Wisconsin at the end of his junior year.</p>

<p><strong>2022 Stats: 13 Games<br>Passing: 157/236 passes, 2,620 passing yards for 32 touchdown passes. Rushing: 84 carries, 615 rushing yards, and 7 rushing touchdowns.</strong></p>

<p><strong><em>Eisenhower High School [player_tooltip player_id='375356' first='Ryan' last='Niblett'] WR, QB Sr 5'10 170 lbs</em></strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='375356' first='Ryan' last='Niblett'] is a blistering fast athlete and can play any skilled position on the offensive side of the ball. It doesn't matter what position Ryan was playing when he was the ball carrier he was an extreme threat. Ryan zoomed past the competition and there was no catching up to him. Ryan was able to transition to the defense as a free safety making big tackles and intercepting passes for a pick-six. Ryan shines at Eisenhower a school not well known for being strong or competitive to become one of the best wide receivers in the country. Ryan was selected for The All-American game in San Antonio, Texas.</p>

<p><strong><em>Kinkaid Falcons [player_tooltip player_id='136194' first='Micah' last='Bell'] Sr DB, RB, QB 5'11 170 lbs</em></strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='136194' first='Micah' last='Bell'] is the backbone and foundation of The Kinkaid Falcons. Micah is highly ranked in the nation for a reason. Micah is a pure athlete he plays on both sides of the ball on offense as a running back and quarterback and on defense as a cornerback and safety. Micah has a ton of standout traits he is strong, fast, quick, persistent, and a hard hitter. Micah was able to seamlessly transition between positions playing aggressively on both offense and defense. Micah's had a great football career at Kinkaid leading them to 3 state championship wins and being selected to play in the San Antonio All-American Game.</p>
