Continue ReadingTolo is a three-time All-County center from Mater Dei who did not sign on the early signing day. He only has four offer but they are all from schools who have signed players in Southern California already. Colorado State and Kansas are strong candidates for him. Tolo is a natural leader who the underclassmen linemen at Mater Dei look up to.
Hoch was a breakout player in 2022 who quickly became one of the best receivers in Southern California. The 6-foot-3 senior caught 101 passes for 1434 yards and 21 touchdowns. He was a late bloomer physically who didn’t develop into a college prospect until late in the game. Hoch has good hands and his route running is smooth. He has an offer from Colorado State.
Hitchens was one of the best inside linebackers in Orange County and can be a versatile defensive player at the college level. He led a very good El Modena defense with 117 tackles. He has very good lateral speed and drives his feet through contact while tackling. He has offers from New Mexico State and Northern Arizona.
Leigber was the Orange County Offensive Player of the Year according to the OC Register and obviously his stock rose with a stellar playoff run. He had 52 touchdowns, 44 of them on the ground. Air Force and Rice are the biggest schools to offer him. Leigber has some PWO offers from UCLA and UC Davis. He is being recruited as a safety.
Henjum was one of the more physically dominant receivers I saw in Orange County this season. He uses his body and strength to win 50/50 balls as well as break tackles after the catch. He reminds me of Cooper Barkate from Mater Dei’s 2021 team and he landed at Harvard. Henjum has offers from Army, Adams State, Colgate and Bucknell.
