Here are a few of the stand out players that caught my eye. Keep an eye out for more Red Wolves content coming up.
Bey Koang Bey Koang 6'4" | 180 lbs | TE Lincoln | 2023 State NE | 2023 | TE | Lincoln | 6’4″ 180 lbs
– Tall, lengthy pass-catching target with a big catch radius.
– Could play TE at the next level and bulk up. He could also be a perimeter receiver to who you can throw 50/50 balls with confidence.
– He has long arms and can make catches away from his body.
– Still raw but has improved considerably in a short time.
– Starting to gain recruiting buzz with recent offers from Concordia, Peru State, and Midland.
Genesis Springs | 2024 | DB | Lincoln Northwest | 5’8″ 160 lbs
– He’s not the biggest player but he brings a lot of intensity and has a great work ethic.
– Can shift from safety to CB and can cover a good chunk of the field. Solid range.
– Keeps his hips loose and can change direction on a dime.
– One of the biggest standouts on the defensive side of the ball.
Davieian Williams Davieian Williams 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Lincoln Southeast | 2024 State NE | 2024 | DB | Lincoln | 6’2″ 170
– This is a 2024 player that I have been saying to keep an eye on and should make some noise going into his senior year.
– Great athlete in general. Track speed, great hops, and very good agility.
– Lengthy cornerback with a good grasp on his position and the fundamentals.
– Going to be a key two-way player for the Links.
Thomas Davis Thomas Davis 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Lincoln North Star | 2024 State NE | 2024 | WR | Lincoln North Star | 6’0″ 185 lbs
– Very underrated receiver prospect
– Thomas has surprising game speed and quick feet. He can get right on a defenders toes before branching out for his route.
– He has a little more bulk on his frame and uses it well when getting physical with defenders.
– Big offseason and senior year coming up.
Cohen Burhoop | 2024 | WR/DB | Waverly | 6’2″ 175 lbs
– Saw a lot of good stuff from the Waverly guys. Especially junior Cohen Burhoop.
– Burhoop looked good in both DB and receiver drills.
– He has good size and length to him. Lengthy arms and a big stride to cover a lot of field.
– Great instincts in coverage. Gets his hands in between ball and receiver for some PBUs.
