Cody Soliday – QB – 6’0″ 175 – Irwin County HS / @m_soliday
Soliday shows a pretty good feel for pressure. He’s able to climb the pocket and buy time. Tough enough to stand in and take a hit. Throws from a stable base and transfers weight effectively. Has a high release point and consistent follow-through. Sound decision-maker who limits questionable throws. Shows the ability to make anticipatory throws, and throw receivers open. Trusts his arm strength and doesn’t need to see wide-open receivers to throw. Arm talent is good, with the ability to crank up the velocity as needed. He has beautiful timing, touch, and placement on his back-shoulder throws.
Ruben Berry – RB – 5’8″ 195 – Claxton HS / @RubenBerrry5
Berry is surprisingly elusive, he can change direction fairly easy when moving at top speed. He runs with good balance, and once he gets going downhill, he is not easy to get to the ground. He also seems to have good running instincts and vision. It was impressive to watch the amount of times he was carrying the ball inside, just to find an escape route to get into the open field.
Damarcus Lundy Damarcus Lundy 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Irwin County | 2023 State GA – RB – 5’11” 184 – Irwin County HS
Lundy has acceleration, burst, and twitch. These traits translate to his work as a running back. Lundy burst allows him to reach the second and third levels of the defense, creating opportunities for long touchdown runs. He uses his acceleration to get north-south and pull away from defenders in the open field. His juice eliminates angles on outside runs and puts defenders in trail positions.
Charlie Nelson – WR – Social Circle HS
Nelson runs precise routes, showing an feel for setting up defensive backs to create separation. He tracks the ball well downfield and consistently runs under long throws. He’s a precise route runner, creating separation when used on quick outs and stop patterns. Nelson has good stop-start ability and lateral agility.
Terrel Ashley – WR – 6’0″ 154 – Crawford County HS
Ashley coordinated with soft, reliable hands, and he shows the ability to adjust to balls thrown behind him, as well as a knack for digging out low throws. Fluid athlete with explosive burst and speed to stretch the field and breeze past defenders. Has a quick first step and gets to top speed in a hurry.
