Class 3A: 2026 RB’s To Look Out For Next Season

Works well through congestion. Makes pretty sharp cuts when stretching the defense laterally. Nice vision and footwork to recognize and hit cutback lanes. Remember the name, [player_tooltip player_id='401491' first='Devon' last='Caldwell']. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Latimer Amari - RB - Sandy Creek HS / @amarilatimer_</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Has a smooth game and is able to change speeds effectively. Shows adequate patience and vision to let blocking develop and recognize cutback lanes. Clean footwork when shuffling to find a hole, and doesn't waste any time hitting when he finds an opportunity, showing adequate burst. I'm excited to see what he have in store the next 3 years. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='1776947' first='Lavonte' last='Cole'] - RB - 5'10" 171 - Thomasville HS / @hbvvonte</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cole has so much potential he runs with a low center of gravity and appropriate knee-bend. Able to squeeze through pockets for yardage. Can slip by defenders in a phone booth. Runs through arm tackles in the open field. Tries to spin off of attempts for additional yardage. Can't wait to see him grow in his high school career.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='860109' first='Haddon' last='Fries'] - RB - 5'6" 175 - Ringgold HS / @haddonfries</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fries has a lot of potential. His contact balance is good enough to pinball off of defenders landing glancing blows. Can be elusive in space, with a nice stutter-step. Fries doesn't go down easily and consistently falls forward at the end of runs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Bryson Donald - RB - 5'8" 188 - Ridgeland HS </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bryson is a good back. He have a lot to his game that is impressive. He generally finishes runs by falling forward. Doesn't shy away from contact in pass protection, and has the anchor strength to absorb power. Even though he finished the season with 339 yards, but for a freshman I like what I saw. He have plenty room to grow and get better.
