This Winter Showcase featured over 250 athletes in front of over 40 colleges and universities. Many players stood out to the coaches running the showcase – this article will feature the MVPs for the Offensive Line Position.
Jackie Ross – Shelby – A powerful interior blocker, Ross can play center or guard at the next level. A 2023 prospect, he’s 6’0 and 290 and has a very strong initial punch to stun interior pass rushers. If a college doesn’t mind the height, he will be a very strong player that can win with leverage consistently.
Jamal Leger – Mooresville – Another smaller prospect height-wise at 6’0 and 265 – Leger plays with very good technique and helped pave the way for a big Jawarn Howell season with over 1800 yards on the ground for the Blue Devils. Leger is also in the Class of 2023.
Tim Hammonds – Red Springs (SC) – A big strong prospect at 6’6 and 300 pounds, this 2024 player moves extremely well in pass protection – he is definitely a sleeper right now that some school will find out about sooner than later I think.
Fred Perry – Chambers – Has picked up a number of offers since the end of the season – the 2023 prospect at 6;3 and 280 pounds played left tackle for one of the top teams in Charlotte, plays with an edge and moves his feet well in both the run game and pass protection.
Carson Coffman – McCallie (TN) – Great potential out of this 6’3 255 pound OL from Tennessee – Good footwork and a nice frame to continue to add weight for his senior year as a 2024 prospect. Like his hand placement in pass protection as well.
Graham McClelland – Tuscola – A strong 2024 prospect from Western NC – 6’3 270 pounds and plays Center – a bit under recruited right now as he showed very well in person with good strength to stun interior power rushers and moved well in agility drills. 1st team Western NC honoree also.

– JM Robinson – Anchored a very good JM Robinson team up front this past season – 6’3 and 290 pounds, he is a 2024 prospect that projects to have another very good season in his senior year! Enjoys pancakes and was an All-Conference performer as well.
