On January 14th, 2023 I attended the Prep Redzone Showcase in Austin, TX. There were a ton of standout athletes from all over Texas on both offense and defense. In this article, I will be covering the offensive standouts at the Prep Redzone Showcase.
#9 Life Waxahachie High School Kordell Berry Kordell Berry 5'11" | 210 lbs | RB Life Waxahachie | 2024 State TX Jr RB 5’10 195 lbs
Kordell Berry Kordell Berry 5'11" | 210 lbs | RB Life Waxahachie | 2024 State TX had a great performance at the Prep Redzone Showcase. Kordell has a nice big frame body suitable for a running back. Not only is he big Kordell is incredibly fast and flexible. All these outstanding traits made Kordell a massive threat 1v1 portion making it hard for linebackers to properly cover him. I would love a chance to watch Kordell in full pads and see him bulldoze through tackles. Kordell’s spectacular performance awarded him the running back MVP.

Gregory Peoples Jr Gregory Peoples Jr 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Arlington Lamar | 2025 State TX is a new wide receiver on the scene. Gregory came to this camp with a purpose and he got recognized. Gregory had impressive speed and game sense I noticed this from tests and individual drills. Gregory knew how to fake out a defender with great footwork or just simply outrun them with speed to be open for a pass. Gregory’s spectacular performance awarded him the wide receiver MVP.

Hunter Caudill Hunter Caudill 6'3" | 270 lbs | OL Grapevine | 2026 State TX is an outstanding offensive tackle and freshman. For Hunter to be this strong, driven, and talented as a freshman he has a valuable future in football. During the individual position and 1v1 portion, Hunter showcased his offensive linemen skills. Hunter has a solid stance, great footwork, and provides excellent pass protection. Hunter is very aggressive in his pass protection even saw him pancake a lot of the defensive linemen.
