Jackson Akins- Lake Gibson High c/o 23
6’2 200lbs
Akins stepped up this season for Lake Gibson and had a solid year leading the district with 1,587 yards, completing 50% of his passes with 15 touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown. Akins is a solid leader and was a selected two-time team captain, he possesses the arm talent to make every throw necessary for the next level, can threaten defenses vertically and can put velocity on the ball to fit through tight spaces. He’s a good student with a 3.35 GPA and currently has one offer from Anna Maria College.
Zachary Pleuss Zachary Pleuss 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Lakeland Senior | 2023 FL – Lakeland High c/o 23
6’0 185lbs
Pleuss was outstanding this year leading Lakeland to an undefeated season and a state championship! He finished second in the district throwing for 1,470 yards, completing an impressive 67% of his passes with 13 touchdowns and a QB rating of 116. He also rushed for 129 yards and six touchdowns on the ground. Over his career Pleuss has passed for over 6,000 yards and 71 touchdowns. He’s an intelligent quarterback (4.27 GPA) that doesn’t get fooled reading coverages, will stand in the pocket and take shots while delivering accurate passes down the field, and has very good mechanics and footwork. Currently has offers from Allen University and Iowa Wesleyan.
Anthony Oldham- Kathleen High c/o 24
5’11 190lbs
Oldham is a player to keep an eye on next season. His MaxPrep stats only shows one game played where he passed for 193 yards, completed 63% of his passes with two touchdowns. He also average 9 yards per carry. Oldham is a player that shows potential and is a prospect that will continue to develop over the spring and summer. He possesses a nice compact delivery, reads defenses quickly and knows where to go with the ball, flashes good accuracy on first and second level throws and throws deep with nice ball placement.
