Jayce Taylor Jayce Taylor 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Biggersville | 2026 State MS , RB/LB, Biggersville
Taylor has a big frame that he makes plays with. He has the size to play linebacker in college right now. Taylor is a workhorse on this team. He does a lot to make sure he helps out in a major way. He is already making an impact on both sides of the ball. Taylor was very important to his team’s success last season. He played the game like an upperclassmen. That’s what you want to see out of your freshman and sophomore players. Taylor is a name that we are going to hear a lot over the next three seasons. He is a stud that will play power five football.
Grant Kitchens, OL/DL, Nanih Waiya
This kid stepped up very big for his team last season. Did we mention he is only 14? He doesn’t turn 15 until July. This kid is a 6-foot-6, 275-pound monster. You do not want to be around him when he is coming full speed. Kitchens has some work to do, but he definitely has the size to start it off a good process. I truly think this kid is a power five player. He just needs more training, and needs to make sure he develops his skills. He definitely already has the size. When schools become familiar with his name he will see a major rise in his recruiting process.
Tre Ellis Tre Ellis 6'2" | 230 lbs | LB Hazelhurst | 2026 State MS , LB, Hazlehurst
Tre Ellis Tre Ellis 6'2" | 230 lbs | LB Hazelhurst | 2026 State MS is one of the best freshmen in the state of Mississippi. He has great size, and decent speed. At 6-foot-2, 228-pound he moves around very well. Especially when you consider he is only 14 years old. Ellis was a major factor on his team last season. He helped out in many ways. Some are even calling him a phenomenal freshman. That is a statement I cannot disagree with. Ellis gets the job done every time he steps on the field. He is the man on their defense.
Tristan Burns Tristan Burns 5'8" | 165 lbs | ATH Adams County Christian | 2026 MS , ATH, Adams County Christian School
Burns is a gritty young man who knows how to make plays. This kid has a lot of heart and can compete with anyone. That’s what makes him stand out when he plays. He also has some very good athleticism. When he plays defense he knows how to break on the ball to make plays. On offense he is always making acrobatic catches. He is a guy that I paid attention to all last season. I’m suggesting that everyone else do the same next year. I would love to see him become quicker and faster. He is a guy to know in the 2026 class.
