Deshawn Smith Deshawn Smith 6’0″ | 170 lbs | WR Wesson | 2025 State MS is an absolutely talented individual. Deshawn was one of his team’s leading receivers and made big time plays look effortless. Smith has shown the ability to get the ball regardless of the circumstances which as a result makes him a reliable target for his QB. This season alone Deshawn put up over 900 receiving yards and 9 TDs making it all the way into the playoffs to challenge the eventual state champions. This kid is already tremendous but will continue to perform.
Roayle put up great numbers his freshmen year but continues to raise the bar in terms of performance. This season Royale had 3 yards shy of 800 and an additional 100 + yards on the ground. Shelvy has exceptional speed, awareness and pose to make big plays happen. If Shelvy continues this upward trajectory he will certainly be one of the top receiver prospects in the state. I am looking forward to what he will do next season.
Quincy was a running back by trade but Phillips really made his mark for the Brandon Bulldogs by being an exceptional route runner. This season Quincy Phillips Quincy Phillips 5’8″ | 180 lbs | ATH Brandon | 2025 State MS put up over 795 yards, propelling the Bulldogs all the way into the State Championships where they would face the eventual State Champions. Quincy is already making a name for himself however it can be certain that Phillips is looking to show just how great of a prospect he is and why his team is Top 5 in the state.
Brown was electric this past season. He would consistently make big time plays against some prolific programs and DBs. Furthermore, Brown has shown the ability to win the 50/50 throws and make very difficult catches look easy. A lot of what he does is very Jamar Chase type stuff. This kid has a lot of skill and a lot of time to continue to show his skill. He is certainly at the top of his class.
