Who are they? Let’s take a look…
Gabe Smith Gabe Smith 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Cambridge | 2025 State GA – Guard – Cambridge
One of the top young interior offensive linemen in Fulton County, Smith opened up holes left and right for the Cambridge Bears at left guard last season as a sophomore. He has SEC-caliber size at 6-foot-4265-pounds and continues to add more muscle and mass to his lean frame. He’s explosive off the snap and does a great job of engaging with defenders and driving them backwards. He shows above-average athleticism and moves really well for an interior lineman. He gets to the second level with ease and can overpower linebackers at the second level. He’s technically sound for a sophomore who plays with a balanced base and brings plenty of strength and power to the interior. He’s still getting bigger, and as he continues to develop, Smith has a chance to be one of the top interior linemen across Georgia for the 2025 class. The promising lineman earned an offer from Arkansas recently and could see more come his way this month and later in the spring.
Dontrell Glover Dontrell Glover 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Langston Hughes | 2025 State GA – Langston Hughes
An impressive young tackle prospect from the Atlanta-area, Glover played left tackle last fall for arguably the best team in the state last year in Langston Hughes. Another big tackle with a lean frame at 6-foot-3 290-pounds, Glover is excellent in the run game and opens up consistent holes on the left side. He’s also an outstanding pass-protector and blocked for one of the top junior quarterbacks in the state. Dominating the left side of the line, Glover helped lead a Langston Hughes offense that was one of the very best across Georgia, lighting up the scoreboard on a weekly basis. He bends well and shows impressive footwork for someone his age. He’s still raw, as most young players are, but he started every game at left tackle last season as a sophomore and is seeing offers come his way, including one from Alabama last month. After a dominant sophomore season and with his measurables, look for more offers to fly in over the next several weeks. He’s absolutely one of the top 2025 OL prospects in Georgia and will only get better in 2023.
Brayden Jacobs Brayden Jacobs 6'7" | 325 lbs | OL Buford | 2025 State GA – Buford
Another big-time offensive tackle in the metro-Atlanta area, Jacobs is a promising tackle prospect due to his size and versatility. Pushing 6-foot-7 and around 300-pounds, Jacobs already had easy D1 size and about to see his recruitment really take off. He already owns some impressive D1 offers and earned two big ones last month from Alabama and Michigan State. He’s excellent in the run game and opened up massive holes at right tackle last year for St. Francis. His father played in the NFL for the New York Giants, so football runs in his blood. Still a young prospect, Jacobs is still learning and developing, making him an easy young lineman to offer for major D1 programs. His development will continue at Buford which is a scary thought for opposing 7A programs in Gwinnett County. In. a loaded 2025 OL class in Georgia, Jacobs is emerging as one of thee best.
