Jonathan Ceron
Jonathan Ceron
Ceron is a long athlete already standing 6’2″ and weighing over 220 lbs. As a young defensive lineman he shows good burst off the line of scrimmage. Has long arms that allows him to get seperation from offensive lineman and read the back field actions. Strong lower half that allows him to anchor against the run game and a strong punch against oncoming offensive lineman. Shows a strong rip move in pass rush but will start adding to his tool kit as he ages. Shows good knee and hip bend but really looks like if he adds good weight in the offseason he will become a much more dominant force for the Lions.
Szilagyi is a tall defensive back that uses that height to his advantage as he blankets wide receivers. Has good ball skills that allow him to make plays all over the field. Smooth in his back pedal and show some quick twitch when he breaks on the football. Szilagyi has the ability to really transition in and out of his breaks but as he continues to grow this is where he will become more elite. Has good hip fluidity to transition out of his back pedal and is fast enough to catch up. A strong tackler who is going to get even better with age and a couple of years in the weight room behind him.
Nate Wayment
Nate Wayment
Wayment is another tall defensive back standing at 6’2” already. Wayment does a really good job in covering showing the ability to mirror wide receivers in and out of their breaks. Has a quick trigger in the run game that allows him to make tackles all over the field. A sure tackler that is not afraid of contact and does a good job running his feet on contact. Wayment has quick feet that allow him to get out of his back pedal and make a play on the ball with good ball skills he tracks the football well. As he continues to grow he will only get better at his craft where he will become a much better defender in man to man situations. Look out for the sophomore from Minico he’s going to be a good one.
The Twin Falls running back is powerful for being just a sophomore. You can see it in the way he runs with reckless abandon. Strong in his lower half Kun is not afraid of contact at all choosing to run over than around defenders. Shows good vision to set up blockers and defenders while somehow choosing the right running lane. Has a natural feel in between the tackles to be patient but then burst through to the second level. Has good speed that will only get better as he grows not only in years but also in the weight room. Shows a willingness to block in pass protection and to step up meeting blitzers in the hole. Should have a huge junior season for the Bruins.
