Which 2024 prospects added new offers recently? Let’s take a look…
Christian Peterson Christian Peterson 5'11" | 185 lbs | DB Westlake | 2024 State GA – Westlake
While he only played in about half the season, the versatile Atlanta-area defender was excellent on defense and special teams this fall fall as a junior. A smaller, quicker defender who can play linebacker and defensive back, the 5-foot-11 175-pounder is a quick-reacting player who has no problem chasing down the ball carrier. He plays at a fast and high level for someone his age, showing why he’s reeling in impressive D1 offers. He’s an easy D1 talent and earned a new offer this week from Auburn. One of the top 2024 athletes overall west of Atlanta, Peterson now holds offers from Boston College, App State, among others.
Wendell Gregory Wendell Gregory 6'4" | 215 lbs | DB Walton | 2024 State GA – Walton
A promising linebacker from Cobb County, Gregory ended his junior season last year on a high note and has really come into his own, proving to be one of the top linebacker prospects in Cobb County. He’s long, athletic, and has great instincts in coverage. He covers a lot of ground and knows how to sprint the other way when picking off a pass. He can also track down the running back out of the backfield and drop them for a loss. He had a D1 frame and he’s still developing his technique. He has a promising future at the next level and earned another offer this week from the new staff at Georgia Tech. As a junior this fall, thee Walton Raider defender made 38 tackles and two INTs.
Cole Mullins – Mill Creek
A versatile, hard-hitting linebacker on the rise, Mullins has plenty of size at 6-foot-4 240-pounds who knows how to get off blocks and deliver a big hit on the ball carrier. He’s quick off the ball, can set the edge, and knows how to get after the quarterback. Playing defense for the 7A state champions this fall, Mullins was a playmaker throughout the season and brought a tough, physical presence to the Hawks defense. As a junior last fall, the Mill Creek defender made 59 tackles, 10 TFLs, six sacks (tied for most of the team), and deflected two passes. He’s an excellent run defender and proved to be one of the top junior linebackers in the region. He played on one of the most talented defenses in the state and made play after play each week. He flashed D1 potential on a consistent basis and recently earned a new offer from Georgia Tech.
Waltclaire Flynn Jr – OL – Grayson
One of the top OL prospects across the state for the 2024 class, Flynn Jr. is a nasty, versatile lineman who can play guard or center at the next level. He’s strong, thick, and moves extremely well for someone playing along the offensive line. He shows good footwork, has a high football IQ, has plenty of D1 experience, and already owns a handful of impressive D1 offers. Now, he has another one from the new Georgia Tech staff. A multi-year starter for one of the top 7A programs in the state, Flynn Jr is a fundamentally sound interior lineman who knows how to drive defenders backwards. He plays until the whistle and bound for a gigantic senior season for the Rams in 2023.
