Elijah Teriipaia|| LB || 6’0 || 210 || Skyridge High School || 2023
Teriipaia controls the middle of the field like few players can in the state. He’s an athletic blur that flies around the field, making plays. Teriipaia is always looking to create turnovers through the ground or air. He does an exceptional job trying to punch the ball out as he’s going to wrap up. In addition, he is an elite blitzer who disguises his rushes well. Teriipaia does an exceptional job of reading quarterbacks’ eyes and holding down his zone when dropping into coverage. It’s not a question of when he will be making a difference at the second level but rather how soon.
Miles Draper || LB || 6’0 || 205 || Syracuse High School || 2023
Draper locates and flies to the ball like a heat-seeking missile. His elite sideline-to-sideline quickness helps him shut down opposing offenses rushing attack. Draper fearlessly fills holes and stops running back in their tracks with violent hits. He’s an exceptional blitzer but can also drop into coverage, where he shows off his impressive ball skills. In addition, Draper does a great job getting around offensive linemen where he can go over or under their blocks and still make plays. The Titan’s defense would not have been as formidable without his presence.

Anderson’s play recognition and elite reaction time made him a formidable presence in the Falcon’s defenses. He quickly sniffs out if plays are a run or pass and does a good job identifying reverses. Skyridge trusted Anderson to make tackles against some of the state’s toughest backs, and he never disappointed. He takes excellent angles and finishes each of his hard hits by wrapping up ball carriers. Offensive linemen have difficulty getting a hand on him as he easily outmaneuvers them. His ability to bring down ball carriers will make him a critical part of defenses at the next level.
Dave Brinton || LB || 6’2 || 225 || Corner Canyon High School || 2023
Brinton is an elite athlete and made numerous game-changing plays for the Chargers defense. He shines at making plays in space and limiting ball carriers to short gains rather than touchdowns. When Brinton sees a gap, he shoots right through it and, over the course of a game, racks up tackle for loss after tackle for loss. He gives everything he’s got for his teammates each game, putting his body on the line to make plays. Brinton makes highlight-worthy hits every other drive and strikes fear into offenses.
