To be an elite tight end, you must be able to move large defensive linemen and get open against linebackers and defensive backs on the outside. The 6'3 Knight is a force in both the run and passing game. His routes are textbook, and he's got great hands. Once he gets the ball, he does a good job generating yards after contact by breaking out of tackles. He's an elite athlete who can elevate to bring down high passes. As a blocker, Bateman plays with a mean streak that helps him gain the edge when matched up with linebackers and defensive ends. He's especially effective when pulling where he hits like a sledgehammer.

[player_tooltip player_id='406895' first='Bridger' last='Davies'] || TE || 6'4 || 215 || Corner Canyon High School || 2023
Bridger is a savvy route runner who can win in the slot against safeties and linebackers. He also understands the nuances of zone coverage and does a good job settling into the soft spots. Bridger displays exemplary body control and makes good adjustments on the ball in the air. Most tight ends just want to catch passes but not Bridger who enjoys moving men from point A to point B. He can line up off tackle or get out and block on the outside on bubble screens. Bridger also does a strong job working with offensive linemen on double teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='406875' first='Mathew' last='Fredrick'] || TE || 6'5 || 230 || East High School || 2023
Fredrick is a physical tight end who loves to bury defenders in the run game. The 6'5 tight end has the size and strength to push defensive ends five yards off the ball. He did a good job driving his legs and acted as an extra lineman for the Leopard's physical rushing attack. As a pass catcher, Fredrick's large catch radius is a safety blanket for signal callers. In addition, he's an exceptional athlete who can go over top and moss defensive backs. Fredrick's tough to bring down and always looking to punish would-be tacklers on his way to the endzone.

[player_tooltip player_id='406898' first='Will' last='Money'] || TE || 6'4 || 205 || Springville High School || 2023
Monney is a mismatch nightmare in the red zone, where he makes 50/50 balls feel more like 80/20. His catch radius is impressive and will make him hard to contain at Utah State. Monney is hard to bring down in the open field and does a good job working back to the ball. He's a great athlete who can take the top off a defense and does an exceptional job tracking the ball. Monney runs good routes and changes directions incredibly quick for his size. In addition, to the plays he makes in the passing game, he also enjoys putting defenders on their behind in the run game.

To be an elite tight end, you must be able to move large defensive linemen and get open against linebackers and defensive backs on the outside. These four tight ends do it all at a high level.
